(Google it; the Beatles used to do this) I’m not sure what special sauce goes into the processing (there’s some knobs you can mess with) but it sounds lovely when you play an acoustic guitar through it, like there’s a tape effect. All you need is wired headphones and you can lay down a fairly simple demo in double quick time. It’s really simple to use and the basic GUI is perfect.
