### 3/5 — Too little too LITE

*2014-06-08*

Really nice tease, but just as I was getting comfortable with the features and it's quirks, I ran into the limitations. Did not learn enough to commit to the Pro version. For now, I will stick to XCode story boarding.

My recommendation is to remove the screen limitation (or make it a large number) and provide the full set of widgets. Getting a stronger taste of the potential full functionality might hook ones appetite, then focus on the next phase as input to platform dev in the Pro.

### 3/5 — Great but aa few bugs

*2012-12-17*

I'm not sure if you would see them as bugs, but I do. There are places to change the text displayed in say table view cells, but you cannot paste. That kind of thing. A great app otherwise. I hope to see these things fixed soon. I'm interested in buying full featured version.

### 4/5 — Impressive App but Unstable

*2012-10-06*

I would easily give this 5 stars on the feature set of this app but it loses one star because of more than infrequent crashes--3 crashes in the last hour alone. I'm on iOS 6 on the latest iPad. Fortunately I have lost very little work after a crash. I DO like this app. I am impressed that the app just disappears and allows me to just think and dink with my user experience. I do wish some of the controls were "smarter" so you wouldn't have to duplicate screens to show small changes in UI state. For example, the On/Off control is mostly just used in changing settings--it usually does not activate a whole new view of your app. Would be nice to toggle the control without having to duplicate a view just with the toggle state changed. It would also be nice to have a functional slider control. Of course, I'm also asking for a richer message set along with more life like controls. for example, having something like a swipe action for the slider control so I could go somewhere in the UI based upon the slider value rather than simulating a swipe with multiple screens with the slider showing different amounts "of slide". The downside of having life-like controls of course is more complexity but for professional UI designers like me, I could more efficiently simulate my user experience with less copy and paste of static displays. I'm really not complaining, this is really a very nice piece of work stability issues aside.

### 4/5 — Fantastic

*2012-09-29*

I can't believe how great this light version. It's not light at all. There is a bit of friction with the interface at first, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. I've been eager for an app that I could truly be productive with, and this is it.

Some features I'd like to see include: interface themes, because I get stuck on making visual design decisions and would like some sort of clean/wireframey style so my clients and I could just focus on navigation and IA. Second, a preloaded library of screen templates to speed up the workflow on common design patterns. Lastly, scrolling.

Thanks for a great app!

### 4/5 — Good

*2012-06-11, version 1.7.3*

Good for creating a mockup app so you can show a developer exactly what you want!
The downside...
Will only let you create 8 pages then says you have to buy the full version, that would be fine if the full version was actually available to buy!

### 4/5 — Great!

*2012-06-02*

Very well designed, easy to use wireframe app. Just one wish: I would like to be able to import and sync blueprint projects from DropBox, so my developer and I can work on the same project from our own devices.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2012-05-15*

Coming from a developer, this is a nice way to jot down concepts of the real thing, (Even though I wish it was that easy), but it won't slide as a real "app". But it's also great for kids to spring up ideas too.

### 5/5 — Best prototyping app I've tested

*2012-05-09*

It is really easy and intuitive, leading to a practical and fast prototying. I strongly recommend!

### 2/5 — I wanted to like it but...

*2012-02-20*

This app has a lot of features no other mockup app has. Undo being the biggest advantage over other apps. It's very easy to use and easy to learn. Almost no coaching required. I was designing interfaces quickly and was happy as a clam, then I came to a screeching halt! I keep running up against the "this does not work in the lite version" message. That's really where this app fails, at least this version. I really liked this app until then. I cant understand why anyone would put out a lite version that doesn't allow you to use all the features? This is most notable on the Image, Image Sources screens. Limit the app in some other way. Number of screens maybe, don't disable the very features you are trying to promote. It makes no sense. There is absolutely no way I'm going to part with $20 for the full version of an app I can't try out. That's a lot of money for an app. (at least for me it is) Maybe it's worth it? Maybe not? For $20 I guess I'll never know.

### 5/5 — Blueprint Lite

### 2/5 — Good concept, wish it worked

*2012-01-02, version 1.7.1*

This is a neat application, and I really wish I could use it, but it's just not efficient.

I can never get the dialog to delete and duplicate to work reliably, and selecting and moving small things like text boxes are a pain in the butt because they just try to resize.

This app, with it's real looking widgets and mock up screen navigation would be a perfect tool for designing the stuff I'm trying to if it wasn't so cruddy.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2016-11-21*

Got immediately stuck in some full screen edit mode. Kept getting message "double tap to exit ". Nothing worked. I was hopeful but disappointed

### 1/5 — Crashes on iPad Pro with iOS 9.2.3

*2016-05-27, version 2.1.6*

Too bad because it looks like a great app.

### 1/5 — Abandoned app, no iOS 9 support

*2016-05-11, version 2.1.6*

App has been abandoned, no updates in over a year, no iOS 9 support.

### 1/5 — Ok

*2014-03-10, version 2.1.3*

This app is ok but it's slow and it's not designing your own blueprint instead it's designing your own I phone or I pad!!!!!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Needs to be updated for ios 5

*2012-06-03, version 1.7.3*

I like this app but I would like it more if there was a full version.on the app it will not let you do somethings and tells you to download the full version and if you click on the button thing happens. I would highly appreciate if the full version was added or the app would let you do everything it is suppose to.

### 1/5 — Errors

*2012-04-10, version 1.7.2*

If the Lite version has errors why would I buy the full version. Simple options like Cut / Copy / Paste stop working, you have to reinstall and you lose your projects.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2012-03-07*

This app has NOTHING to do with making blueprints. What a waste of my time!

### 1/5 — No dice

*2010-12-23, version 1.1*

I was eager to try out a wire framing/mockup tool. I figured Blueprint Lite would get me started; if I liked it, I would upgrade to the full version. Well, I tried to create a new "project" in Blueprint Lite and it just killed the app. Now, every attempt to open the app results in a return to my Home screen (i.e. a crash). I've uninstalled the app - perhaps a future release will be more stable.

### 2/5 — Only 8 screen ability in Lite version!

*2017-07-05, version 2.2.0*

£3.99 and only able to produce 8 screens certainly does not me to have to pay £19.99 for a full version. Very disappointing app.

### 2/5 — Has potential.

*2014-02-17*

The lite version shows a lot of promise. I cannot tell from it if I will be able to apply colors and if so , will it just be lines or will fills be available? Also not sure if I will be able to import jpg or other files so not purchasing it .

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A real time saver

*2015-01-10*

I have been using this app to quickly create ui mockups for my school projects. Excellent app for developers that like being able to quickly create mockups on the go with nothing but an iPad.

### 5/5 — Great tool!!

*2013-11-05, version 2.1.2*

I've started putting together a concept for a new app idea I have and came across this app when looking for something to do the mockup.

I have to say, it's simply great and very easy to use. Hopefully the dev can add more controls to it, perhaps in the pay version to give a decent incentive to upgrade

### 5/5 — Great App

*2013-08-29, version 1.9.2*

Very easy to use with powerful function.

Perfect for mockup a iPhone app.

Tip. If any control is missing, use image control to mockup.

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2013-05-27*

This app is great, very simple to use and intuitive. I take my iPad to client lunches and mockup a new concept in literally seconds. For those that complain about the price, I say get a job as a real app developer. The $20 price tag is more than reasonable as similar products on the PC run more than that for a monthly fee. I am surprised to even see a complaint about price from people that supposedly make apps for a living, as that is really the customer base for this app. Complainers should be ashamed for continuing the devaluement of app prices ($1 for an app is ludicrous but you'll pay 2.75 for an ice tea). I for one am happy to see an app valued closer to its actual value, though I still think it is worth more. Maybe they will make enough to put a hot meal on the table for their kid. Good job guys, keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for.

*2013-02-24*

A wireframe scratch pad for realizing an app.

### 5/5 — Great tool!

*2012-08-08*

It's a great tool!!!
Developers please, please, please release Mac OS X Version will buy it in a moment :)

### 5/5 — Good stuff

*2012-07-10, version 1.7.3*

This app is very good and so cool! I'm happy there is a lite version since I don't have 20$ lol! Thank u!

### 5/5 — Very nice but no full version?

*2012-05-31*

Very helpful and easy to use. Wanted to use the add image when I was told I would need the full version. I clicked the link and and said the app was not found in app store. To bad since I would have likely purchased it. Still a great app for prototyping.

### 5/5 — Great, but...

*2012-05-30*

I played with the lite ver, liked it,wanted to upgrade to the paid ver, but no way...WHAT GIVES?

### 5/5 — From a developer

*2012-05-26*

This app is so great and intuitive. Even though the light version gives me everything I need I want to buy the full version to support an awesome product. Unfortunately there does not seem to be a full version at this time.
