The only thing that needs to change is "tap row to move". You should be able to move multiple rows into a created folder. The app handle these big PDFs quicker than my core i7 laptop with acrobat reader. Have 2 full sets of construction plans in folders and sub folders... Carry iPad now on site visits, rather than rolls of plans... Also have all RFI's, CCD's, ASI's, all in one folder. Who needs paper anymore. Superb! *2012-03-21* "Large Viewer" is still the best large image viewer I have seen, by far. And now with the new iPad with retina display it's even more useful! Simply stunning! If you want to view pretty much any resolution image and really show off what the retina display can do, you've got to get this app! The main use for me is to browse through large Electric Network Diagrams in the filed. Outage management folks have a look! ### 5/5 — Fantastic, just what I was after *2011-12-08* As part of my research, I have drawings of plans that are bitmap TIFFS. This means I can have very large plan sized drawings for as little as 150kb, so they don't take up much storage space and eat into my memory. Also I have photos that I need to study close up and PDF's. With this app I can now store these on my iPad/iPhone and view them right up close. Although pretty expensive, this is exactly what I was after and invaluable to me. So if like me you were frustrated at not being able to get right close in on that image, this is a must have app ### 4/5 — No fix yet *2011-10-28* No fix for lack of orientation lock in landscape mode on iPod Touch devices. ### 4/5 — Best App I found to open Large Blueprints. !!!!!!! *2011-10-27* This is really fast at zooming in and zooming out .. Its the only app I found to handle large blueprint side pdf. The only problem is I have alot files and its pain organizing them. ### 4/5 — It's slow but... *2011-10-10* ...once it has rendered the tiff into tiles (which can take several minutes for 200mb files) it displays it quickly and scrolling is smooth on subsequent viewing. The app may have performed well at one point in time, but doesn’t seem to be maintained. It was slow to refresh the view of the pdfs I opened and randomly crashes. No bookmark function or markup tools. А как еще импортировать на iPad tif файл, если не через почту? Зачем другие способы? Почему другие вложения автоматом открываются своими программами, а Large Viewer не может? Функция "предоставить метаданные" вообще смех! Имя файла и размер и всё!!! :)))))) Загляните в Андроид и сравните как должны выглядеть метаданные в разных Photo-Image Viewers. Разработчики, ответьте, все-таки не самое дешевое приложение! Устраняйте проблемы! ### 1/5 — Хлам *2012-06-29* Не стоит своих денег. Многостраничные tiff: читает только первую страницу. Долго грузит документ, показывает в плохом качестве. Полная копия программы, которая стоит в 2 раза дешевле. ### 1/5 — A Waste of Money *2011-08-06* I bought this app to view large TIF files. It doesn't really work as advertised. For some reason, it generates huge amounts of data (many gigabytes), maybe to pre-render the image, which reduces the amount of memory available on my iPad for useful data. Converting the files to PDF first didn't help, either. When I did that, it gives me an error message and refuses to render the image at all. In short, I paid $10 for an app that doesn't work as advertised. ### 1/5 — Деньги на ветер! *2011-05-23* Имею много документов в формате jpeg 2000, (jp2), купил эту прогу, разочарован. Очень. Разработчики нагло обманывают людей. Из плюсов только возможность работы с сервисом dropbox, но толку от этого - 0. Once I opened the drawing it was extremely blurry. Closing the app and re-opening the app always brought me back to the same PDF drawing with no options to do anything else. I could not get back to the main menu. I have requested a refund. ### 2/5 — Sehr gut, aber mit Schwächen *2017-03-16* Die Darstellung ist wirklich schnell, aber die Dokumentverwaltung ist sehr fehlerhaft. Bei Verwendung von vielen Dateien und Verwendung einer Ordnerstruktur wäre die Verwendung des eingebauten Webserver hilfreich, dieser funktioniert jedoch nicht. Wenn das behoben ist gibts 5 Sterne. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — You can zoom into an OrthoPhoto satellite TIFF *2022-06-25* I downloaded an Orthophotography satellite map from my city to read look at a photo from space to read stall numbers in a monthly parking lot I wanted to rent in order to pick a good stall number placement. The regular free iPhone TIFF viewer apps couldn’t zoom in enough to read them. This FileViewer zoomed right in and read it great. Thanks!! Just note that there’s a little issue with finding the file to open… you cannot use FileViewer’s ‘open local files’ choice to open a file, but you can find the file on the phone ‘Files’ app, and then click the file and share to FileViewer to open it. Then it loads right into FileViewer and you don’t have to find it again as it saves right in the FileViewer app. ### 5/5 — Get field app *2016-12-09* I been using this app for over a week now. I have large blueprints and USGS maps that have always had been very slow using my iPad and iPhone. Now with this app I can import and viewer faster then I could have ever imagined. The developers are great and thru email are very helpful. I had some very testing plans and prints to very and they helped me with the setting and importing. Parabéns aos desenvolvedores! ### 5/5 — Worth every cent *2013-07-18* I have looked high and low for a PDF viewer that can manage large drawings and this program absolutely trumps ALL its competition. Typically the drawings I view are 2-5Mb, which is not that large but they have multiple layers which will normally generate excessive lags when panning and refreshing (15+ seconds). The interface is improving with revisions but generally I can't speak highly enough of this program. ### 5/5 — Very Usefull *2013-05-13* Works very well. It does exactly what it is suppose to do. If you have to look at large maps or blue prints or any large document i recommend this. ### 5/5 — Fast, powerful viewer *2013-04-20* This app is able to open PNG files that are 40,000 by 40,000 pixels or more. Viewing and zooming is extremely fast with no lag. As one other reviewer noted, Large Viewer is probably faster than viewing on a powerful desktop computer. This app works great for viewing huge maps or very large schematics without needing an Internet connection. Additionally, I could see the app being very useful to photographers working with very high resolution photos as the iPad retina display shows details better than most computer monitors. Great for reviewing schematic drawing. ### 5/5 — Opened a 5pg TIF file from my photo album ! *2012-07-19* I bought this program with only the slightest hope that it would do what I needed it to do and am very impressed. I had receive a 5 page TIF file from my bank by email and wanted to put my signature on it with my iphone/ipad and just email it back instead of waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I ran out of luck when I realized that the regular Apple ipad email app would only render page 1 out of the 5 page file. The regular ipad email app actually wouldnt even let me open the TIF file in ANY other program (the "open in") function was not even popping up. Fortunately this app "LargeViewer" was able to open and export the full 5 page TIF file from the 1 page photo in my photo album. It even let me save it to a pdf from which I was able to sign it using the SignNow app!
