## What is BlueTavla?

BlueTavla is classic backgammon, done properly. Real rules, a warm wooden board, and an opponent worth beating — all running entirely on your device.

PLAYS OFFLINE, ALWAYS
No account, no sign-up, no connection required. On a plane, on the metro, or anywhere with no signal, the board is ready.

AN OPPONENT THAT MATCHES YOU
Three difficulty levels. The easy setting is forgiving while you learn the rules; the hardest thinks several moves ahead and punishes loose play.

BUILT AROUND THE REAL RULES
Hitting and entering from the bar, doubles, bearing off, forced moves — the engine follows the full ruleset, not a simplified version.

TAKE YOUR TIME
Tap a checker to see where it can go. Made a move you regret? Undo it. Nothing is final until you confirm your turn, so you can think the whole roll through.

CLEAR AND CALM
A wooden board that is easy on the eyes, dice that roll where you can see them, and a pip counter so you always know who is ahead.

Turkish and English throughout.

Fixed the opening rule. It now follows Turkish backgammon: a single die is rolled in the first game, the higher roll starts and rerolls to play. If both roll the same, they roll again. Later games are opened by the winner of the previous one.

Added a "Western opening" option in Settings for players who prefer an opening roll before every game.

• Smarter opponent: the computer now bears off properly in the endgame. It used to leave checkers on the board and play elsewhere, handing you the race.
