Currently, I am using the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K (Full Frame) with the Tilta Nucleus Nano II. After connecting the controller through the app, I found that only the Start/Stop (Record) function works, while the Focus Control does not respond. I noticed in the app description that focus pulling is specifically mentioned for the Pocket 4K. I would greatly appreciate it if you could update the app to support focus control for the BMCC 6K and Nucleus Nano II as well. Since the Nano II is becoming the new standard for many Blackmagic users, adding this compatibility would be incredibly beneficial. But it hasn’t been updated in years and doesn’t include proper support for the latest Blackmagic Cameras like the URSA Cine or PYXIS models. The range (when working) also leaves a lot to be desired. Pocket Cinema 6K routinely lose connection around 20-30 feet from my phone. G1s and G2s fair only slightly better with a range of ~40 feet. What I would love is for the app to get the date and time from the iPad or phone that it’s connected to and update all connected cameras. The internal clock on BM cameras is pretty solid when powered but it drifts terribly when powered down. I recently got an older Apple Watch specifically to use with the Bluetooth+ app to remote start stop the camera from the watch as part of a handheld or gimbal rig. The app does not appear in the list of available apps to add to my watch and there is no documentation or support regarding Apple Watch integration with the app. Quite disappointed that I had to buy the Watch to find out that it isn’t going to work.. Is the Apple Watch functionality behind the Pro paywall? It isn’t mentioned but maybe… Please reply either to my email from months ago or here if nothing else at least so I can stop wasting time trying to make it work ### 4/5 — Love the app overall. I just want to know if the developer ever plans on adding the ability to use this app as a bluetooth monitor? I would definitely be willing to pay extra for that. ### 3/5 — Buggy but useful *2024-06-21, version 2.3.4* I have a love / hate relationship with this app. When it works, it’s absolutely amazing. In the most recent update they added better support for the full frame BMCC6K, but now I can’t seem to be able to toggle focus assist on any of my four cameras (4K, 6K G2, 6K Pro, 6KFF). The multi cam support is frustrating because I still need to disconnect and re load the app to configure certain features in single mode on each camera one by one. As a single person content creator, I need to rely on this app so that while sitting in front of the camera, I could make some basic changes like triggering and checking the focus with focus assist, adjusting the exposure with false color and configuring my ratio and codec. I’m not sure if this is just a bug in the last update but the toggle is no longer there to turn on the focus assist. They do have settings to change the level of focus assist, but there is no longer away to toggle it on and off. Now, I have to manually walk around to the other side of the camera to turn on focus assist, then get back in front of the camera, then I can adjust the focus and I need to walk behind the camera again to turn the focus assist off and walk back again to stand in front and I need to make sure I stand in the same spot in front so the focus is still good. The only way to stop it is if I went into playback, but the playback didn’t have a play button or a way to get out of the playback so I kinda just got stuck in playback. So the only way to go back to live view was to go out to the arm car snd go back into live view .
