Never lose the thread of a conversation again. BLUF listens to the conversation you are already in and hands you one short line at a time: what the other person actually means, and where the conversation is going. It is built for the listener. It never tells you what to say. BLUF never records and never stores audio. Sound is held in memory for the moment it takes to read a sentence, then released. Speech recognition and reasoning both run on your iPhone, so nothing about your conversation is uploaded anywhere. WHAT IT DOES One line, not a transcript. The point of what was said, while it is still useful. It stays quiet. No line during small talk. It speaks when there is something worth saying. It holds the details you are most likely to miss: a deadline, a condition, a number. It shows how the talking was shared, as plain arithmetic. WHAT IT WILL NOT DO BLUF reads words. It does not judge mood, does not analyse tone of voice, and cannot tell you whether someone is being honest. That was a deliberate decision, not a missing feature. It is not a recorder, so there is no transcript to keep. It is not a medical device and must not be relied on for medical or legal instructions. HONEST ABOUT THE LIMITS A line reaches you about two to three seconds after the words are spoken, because a sentence cannot be read before it finishes.
