Blur turns any photo into a soft, dreamy wallpaper for your Lock Screen and Home Screen. Pick a photo, take one, or start with one of the wallpapers that come with the app. Turn the dial to blur it just right, make the colors glow or fade them out, and wash it in a tint. Check how it looks under the clock, then save it to Photos or share it. SIMPLE CONTROLS • One small dial for blur and saturation, so the picture stays in view. • A big, liquid readout shows the value while you turn the dial. • Tints in white, pink, yellow, blue and green, the iOS system colors. • Tap a control again to put it back where it started. SEE IT BEFORE YOU SAVE • Preview your wallpaper under the Lock Screen clock. • Wallpapers are saved in high resolution, ready to set in Settings. MADE FOR EVERY SCREEN • iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. • On iPad and the unfolded iPhone Duo, the dial stands at the side, out of the way. • Unfold your iPhone Duo and the picture comes into focus for a moment. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your photos are blurred on your device and never leave it. • Saving only asks to add photos; Blur never sees your library. • No accounts, no ads, no tracking. ## Key features - Create soft, dreamy wallpapers - Adjust blur and saturation - Apply color tints - Preview under lock screen clock - Save in high resolution - Designed for iPhone and iPad ## Is Blur safe? (all is saved 9:16…) ### 3/5 — Nice and simple but I am confused *2020-05-03* There’s a blur, saturation and overall tint slider, why does fully extending the blur slider completely remove the blur effect and make the image super exposed?? And the saturation doesn’t work without any blur applied? Could be nice but in my opinion needs some changes currently :c ### 3/5 — Nice, but... *2018-03-19* No support for iPhone X wallpapers 1125x2436. Not cool. Needs update! ### 3/5 — Close, but still a little ways to go *2017-10-14* I really like the simplicity of the app, but the one thing is lacking is the ability to blur the entire image. I like to have an in-focus image add my lock screen wallpaper and a blurred copy as the home screen wallpaper. But if I'm not using the exact center of the image, then the two images don't line up and the effect is ruined. This one option would elevate this app significantly. ### 3/5 — Nice but huge miss *2017-06-02* Seems to work well and the home screen preview is nice but there's no support to frame the photo. I have several wallpapers that the image is larger than my phone display but I just crop to the portion I like. This doesn't allow for that which makes it unusable. ### 5/5 — GREAT! *2014-05-12* It’s simply the BEST! Truly one of a kind. Thank You! ### 4/5 — Nice *2014-04-30* Good app ### 5/5 — My socks *2014-03-27* Have completely been rocked off! I've been looking for an app to do this for years. Very well done. ### 5/5 — Great for anyone picky about their phone *2014-01-05* Beautiful app! Powerfully simple to make it easier to create an iOS 7 appropriate wallpaper. With a bit of creativity, trial and error, some beautiful results are certainly possible. ### 5/5 — Awesome interface *2013-11-19* Awesome app but it should let you resize wallpaper ## Frequently asked questions about Blur ### What is Blur?
