You literally paint blurred areas on the photo. It’s like any other photo editor, except all you can do is blur the image. In my opinion, it’s easier to just upload your photo to one of those websites that automatically blur the background using machine learning algorithms.

I love this lil app. Im still learning the fine points but it’s very intuitive and I used it immediately without difficulty. 

For more detailed, close-in work, just enlarge / zoom in on the photo.

I am using this for free and am grateful to the developers.
