FRAUDULENT ‼️

Does not function. It’s an absolute discrace to have the nerve to ask money for this bugs riddled rubbish. I shall lodge a complaint at the Apple store⁉️(25/05/2025

Crash on first steps

Unfortunately, the app crashes when trying to create a project, the very first step for using it. Hopefully this will get fixed…?

Rubbish

I paid for the pro version and every time I click create project, it crashes. I went to click Provide Feedback and guess what… it crashes. The contact form the website isn’t secure so I give up on this. Don’t waste your money.

FAQ

What does Blur Video Spot do?

Blur Video Spot allows you to create projects to blur moving objects within your videos. It automatically calculates the movement speed between points, enabling you to hide faces, license plates, or other sensitive information. You can then save and share your edited videos.

How do I use the app to blur a video?

To use the app, play your video to the desired position, touch the area you want to blur, and choose the blur type and size. Let the video play, and reposition the blur as needed when the object moves out of the blurred area. Repeat this process and then preview and save your final video.

Is Blur Video Spot free to use?

The app is free to download and use, but it offers a Pro version via an in-app purchase. The Pro version removes watermarks and allows you to import video clips up to 5 minutes long.

What kind of videos work best with this app?

For the best results, it is recommended to import videos that were recorded with your device's camera. Videos from other sources may sometimes lead to unexpected results due to variations in video encoding or quality.

What are the main benefits of using this app?

The primary benefits include protecting the identity of children or individuals, hiding license plates on vehicles, and generally censoring any information you wish to keep private in your video content. It offers a straightforward way to add blur effects to moving elements.
