## What is Blurin?

Blurin finds the faces in your photos and hides them with stickers, emoji, paint or a classic blur.
Perfect for kids' photos, group shots and anything you post online.
Photos never leave your iPhone. No ads, no watermark, no sign-up.

■ Simple
1. Pick a photo
2. Faces are hidden automatically (leave anyone out, or move a mask)
3. Save, then share straight to social media

■ Five modes
[Face] Finds faces automatically — even in profile, looking down, under a hat or turned away. Small faces in group photos too. Tap a face in the row to leave that person unhidden.
[Trace] Trace over anything you want hidden: names, addresses, name tags, license plates.
[Background] Keep people sharp and blur only the background.
[Filter] Change the color and mood of the whole photo with 20 looks across Tone, Film and Digicam. Add the date, like a film camera.
[Crop] Straighten, rotate and set the aspect ratio.

■ Cute ways to hide
Mosaic and blur, plus pen lines, paint, heart and flower stickers, emoji and text. Make "My stamps" from your own photos.

■ New iPhone?
Move My stamps and your presets to your new iPhone from Settings → Transfer.

■ Private by design
- Detection and editing happen entirely on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded.
- Location (GPS), capture date and camera details are removed when you save or share.
- No ads, no account, no tracking.

■ Free
No watermark and unlimited saves. Automatic face detection, Trace, background blur, Filter, Crop and lots of effects are free.

■ Blurin Pro
Save at original quality, exclusive effects (glass, droplets, tapes and more), exclusive filters (Instant, Light Leak and more), depth control for background blur, saving batch results, and unlimited presets and My stamps. Try Pro effects and batch processing on your own photos before you decide.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-15

Blurin 1.3.0 adds Filters, which change the color and mood of the whole photo. Keep faces hidden and give the photo its look, all in one app.

NEW
- Filters: 20 looks across Tone, Film and Digicam. Adjust the strength with the handle on the right edge. (Instant, Light Leak, Flip Phone and Night Flash are Pro.)
- Date: add the day the photo was taken in the bottom-right corner, like a film camera.
- Filters in batch processing: apply the same filter to every photo you hide at once, then save.

IMPROVED
- Reorder and show or hide filters in Settings.
- Saving large photos is more reliable.
- Preset names are no longer cut off.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-28

Blurin 1.2.0 is a major update: four ways to edit and 67 effects for hiding faces and personal details, cutely.

NEW
- Background blur: keeps people sharp and blurs only the background, automatically. (Exclusive effects such as Glass are Pro.)
- Blur by depth (Pro): the farther from the person, the stronger the blur, like a real camera.
- More effects: from 10 to 67, now with Paint, Stamp, Text and Emoji. (21 are Pro-exclusive, such as Satin ribbon, Puffy flower and Glass.)
- Trace: hide more than faces, like name tags and text, by tracing with your finger.
- My stamps: cut something out of a photo and use it as your own stamp. (Free keeps up to 3; Pro, as many as you like.)
- Crop: straighten, rotate and set the aspect ratio.
- Transfer: moving to a new iPhone? Take My stamps and your presets with you.

IMPROVED
- Better face detection: also finds faces in profile, from behind, looking down, and heads under hats.
- Redesigned batch processing: pick the style, strength, color and text for up to 20 photos, and check the result before saving. (Saving needs Pro; try everything up to the result for free.)
- More for free: no watermark, unlimited saves, and quality raised to 2,048 px on the long edge. High-accuracy group detection is free too. (Saving at the original size is Pro.)
- Share straight to social media right after saving.
- New Pro pricing, now with a one-time purchase.
