## What is BMI Calculator App?

In our busy life, we can't be able to maintain our diet or exercise schedule for a long time. So it is important to measure our weight as well as a BMI(body mass index), BMR(Basal Metabolic Rate) and few other index on a regular basis. It'll remind us that we need a proper diet plan as well as exercise schedule.

BMI Calculator

BMI is a value derived from the mass (weight) and height of an individual. The BMI is defined as the body mass divided by the square of the body height, and is universally expressed in units of kg/m2, resulting from mass in kilograms and height in metres.

It is also known as Quetelet index and widely used in medical field. It'll give you the exact idea of your body, fat, muscle and bones. According to that it will give you the result that you are underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese.

BMR Calculator

Your Basal Metabolic Rate(BMR) is the amount of calories your body requires just to perform daily, life sustaining functions. It's the rate of your metabolism or the amount of calories your body burns at rest. More muscular bodies or people that have low body fat and high levels of lean muscle may need more daily calories than most average people.

IBW & ABW Calculator

The Ideal Body Weight (IBW) is usually described as a weight that is assumed to be maximal healthful for an individual. As weight exceeds ideal body weight, the risks of developing serious health problems increase. Adjusted Body Weight (ABW) is used to determine the energy needs in hospitalised obese patients.

LBM Calculator

The Lean Body Mass(LBM) is a part of the body. It is normally defined to be the body weight minus the body fat. Typically lean body mass is 60-90% of the total body mass. Normally, men have higher port of lean body mass than women.

BSA Calculator

Body Surface Area(BSA) is the total surface area of a human body. In many situations, BSA is a better indicator of metabolic mass than body weight since it is less affected by abnormal body fat.

BFP Calculator

The Body Fat Percentage(BFP) of a human or other living being is the total mass of fat divided by total body mass; body fat includes essential body fat and storage body fat. Essential body fat is necessary to maintain life and reproductive functions. The percentage of essential body fat for women is greater than that for men, due to the demands of childbearing and other hormonal functions.

In this app, you can change the unit of weight by clicking on in and select from 3 options: kgs, pound, stone/pound. You can also choose your hight in 3 units: cms, meter and feet/inch. You can also change gender or activity type by simply clicking on it.

To maintain an ideal weight, BMI, you have to create proper diet plans which will give you enough calories according to BMR Calc for your daily routine. On the other hand, you can also create your daily exercise schedule or join a gym for daily fitness.
