Regardless the app tells me that whoops! I am overweight and “need to take better care” of myself and suggested working out in a very patronising way. What kind of fitness app does that? Particularly when the majority of people who care about their BMI are more likely to be taking care of their weight anyway? Additionally, you need to watch an ad before it gives you this rude response. You are in a very dangerous condition! Act now!" And similar, I know I am overweight so maybe wording it just to say you are currently in the obese range etc would be better. Easy to use. However, I DO NOT need an app making editorial comments about my BMI. I already know that. Why do you think I got the app? Frankly, if a person had been in front of me making those comments I probably would have smacked them. If the app thinks it is motivating people it is extremely off base.
