For the FRCA Final there is no way to pick high impact questions or “check your exam health”, for example. You can do batches of 20 questions at a time, or you can select a topic to narrow the questions down. That’s it. There’s also a reasonable number of questions with incorrect answers (assuming the explanations are correct) or inadequate explanations (so you have no idea why the answer is so). Shame considering the price… ### 2/5 — So many incorrect answers and explanations *2025-01-18* The app is fine - although not having an offline version is ridiculous. I have final FRCA and so many questions have contradictory incorrect answers. For example will mark an answer as incorrect and then in the explanation it will tell you your answer was actually correct. This is incredibly unhelpful for revision. I wouldn’t use this again in the future. ### 2/5 — New update terrible *2025-01-06* Actual questions are good and have used for several different exams but the new 2025 update is a backwards step - much less useable, does not allowed questions to be selected as easily and answers are less visible. ### 1/5 — Update *2025-01-02* The latest update has significantly degraded the experience of the app. Multiple features have been removed, including ability to select SBA questions only, ability to choose number of questions and comparison to other candidates, al being sacrificed in the name of “aesthetics”. Multiple sets of true/false questions now have incorrect responses showing as true or vice versa. ### 3/5 — Revising Questions *2024-12-30, version 2.8.5* I have really enjoyed using this app until the recent update, where I can no longer go back to check previous answers and explanations for questions I did answer correctly (sometimes a guess was correct and I need to go back to revise the reasoning). Is there a possibility that this function can be brought back? I feel this new update is not as user-friendly. Thank you ### 1/5 — New update is bad! *2024-12-26, version 2.8.5* New update has ruined the experience. Can’t choose topics or number of questions like before! ### 3/5 — Don’t like the new design *2024-12-24, version 2.8.5* Cannot filter types of questions anymore (I.e filter to SBAs only) ### 2/5 — New layout *2024-12-22* The new layout unfortunately is not as good as the previous one. You can no longer go back to see previously answered questions. You cannot instantly see the full explanation as it previously did. And you cannot see your performance data as clearly as you could in the previous version. A real shame and Something that I wished hadn’t changed just before my exam in January. ### 4/5 — Good but needs way to feed back inaccuracies *2024-03-15* Enjoying doing daily 10 questions from the MRCGP AKT. Only criticism I would make is some of the questions are incorrect/inaccurate. For example, the cows milk protein allergy one. It asks about intolerance, yet the answers refer to allergy. Only a small point but it would be good to be able to feed this back (I think it’s a typo). On thw whole, a nice range of questions. Will be recommending for my Registrars to at least have a look at for AKT prep. ### 2/5 — Why does this app force you to do “ daily questions“ when you open the app *2023-12-26* Overall, this app is decent, but I have one huge frustration at the moment. I’m using this app to revise for the FRCR Part 1 Physics. This is totally new to me, as it is to almost everyone taking the exam, so it’s totally pointless to be forced to do questions on every topic every time you open the app. I, and I think most other users, would much prefer to test my knowledge on a subject (say ultrasound or nuclear medicine) after I’ve had a chance to read up on it. Please can you make it so these daily questions are optional. ### 2/5 — Not great for Acute Medicine SCE *2022-12-16* I thankfully passed this exam but the Onexamination questions are 1. Far too few, 2. Not reflective of the content or difficulty of the exam, 3. Far too expensive as a result. There’s also no option to feed back to authors about out of date questions. StudyPRN and the Acute Med revision book are much better resources. ### 3/5 — Needs more fine tuning *2022-03-29* The app is good but the tagging features does not work as you are unable to filter tagged questions subsequently. Also, there seems to be an issue with the filter. For example, if I want to only review Embryology I am unable to do so because once this is selected, it returns 0 questions. Which used to be greater. i wud give just zero star *2026-05-28, version 2.9.1* I used this app for primary frca 3 years back.Very impresseive. could filter the questions. Can go back to questions that i have wrongly. Can trwck my progress. now thr same updated app. I answer one question and then the question is gone. select 20 questions for revision. Same 20 questions come and i nevre be able to see many questions at any point of time. Useless and pathetic app which used to be so great!!!!!!! Jus get out of app store or please update it.Ppl are failing because of ur stupid updated app with wrong anseers and poor technology. ### 1/5 — Totally inconvenient *2026-02-11, version 2.9.1* Such an inconvenient app to use - cant access previous answered questions while you doing the sets of questions - cant access the current topic that you are answering easily, you have go search all over the list based on how many percentage you’ve progress - the ‘Answer Question’ doesnt work most of the time, so you have to press and wait, if you’re slightly inpatient or pressed it twice accidentally, it gets answered and jumps to next question quickly One of dumbest question bank ever! Kindly invent something that makes everyone life easier! That is why we are paying ### 1/5 — App is terrible, website is fantastic *2025-08-29* Questions are fantastic - less in quantity than pastest but more true to exam style and harder. Well explained on the whole. BUT the app has too many glitches - Ive just tried the most recent update and the hyperlinks are misplaced (used on an ipad), you can’t tailor your revision session, you can only click ‘start revision’ (if you can find the small square to hover your mouse over to actually click the button) and it automatically generates a 20qu test for you. Who are they employing to make the app?? Now you can’t and some correct answers are to ticked as false. Too many mistakes on this new version. Very disappointed I had to pay a lot for this!😠😤☹️ ### 1/5 — Worse *2025-01-17* The previous iteration of the app was so much better. For some reason they’ve seen fit to make it substantially less functional, intuitive and interactive. You can no longer track your progress, huge numbers of questions are just wrongly explained, multiple grammar errors, and the daily revision part seems to be stuck on one question (the answer to which is also flagged incorrectly). I honestly regret paying for this again. Really disappointed. ### 1/5 — New Update Not Fit for Purpose *2025-01-16* Had purchased this app rather than competitors because of the offline question features and ability to select question types. Then without warning the new update means it cannot be used without internet, cannot select number of questions to revise, topic nor whether SBA or MTF. I contacted the support team and they were unable to offer me any help other than saying the website still functions the same so very disappointed. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Nice New Look but Not Perfect *2025-06-25, version 2.9.1* I Like the New Look of the App but miss some „old“ functions. Would be nice to choose number of questions like before. Not always 20. And I miss the comparison to others at the end of a round. And to see the “my performance” part. There are some questions with wrong “true/false” classifications. It’s dangerous to learn wrong stuff if you do not check with the explanation for every single question ### 5/5 — Great app *2024-08-15* App functions well, nice interface. We have already purchased the app , now we need to subscribe another resource in order to open the links provided?
