If prompts you to download the data and ays its doing 350+ processes. Then as soon as you touch “visitors” it completely crashes. Half the features (like TRACKING) still say that they’ll be available in race week, and yet the race is tomorrow. Really no good content 2 days prior to race (despite the promises). If you don’t invest, please kill the app and have runners use a mobile site. It’s stupid to expect loved ones who aren’t participating to download an app they will only use once to track someone while they are running the marathon. **Developer response:** Dear wuzuptx, thank you for your feedback. Can no longer see my daughters results. Chicago Marathon leaves its app active for 11 months. Why doesn’t Berlin do the same? Ridiculous! ### 1/5 — Unusable App Crashes Immediately *2019-10-02, version 2019.3.1* Upon first launch, the app stayed open long enough only to prompt me for permission to receive push notifications. Then it immediately crashed. And now it crashes immediately every time it launches. Do you know how frustrating it is to see his status as “not started” for the entire race? I thought something happened to him and being in the US I didn’t know how to check. I know of many others who sent runners there had the same problem. However, we couldn’t check during the race because it was the middle of the night here. Not sure why it worked for me I uploaded the app about 10 hours before the start. I was excited to see my son tracker moving down the various streets and bridges and roundabouts then got a banner on my phone when he crossed the finish line. Hope it works for every fan and family out there next time. I have an apple SE. nothing fancy. Very much appreciated being able to see where I was on the map too — this app was 1000 times better than London marathon app. I hope other races use this app as standard. ### 5/5 — Worked awesome! *2022-10-04, version 2022.1.3* I was nervous to use the app to track my husband and sister-in-law based on the reviews but wow! I was so thankful to have this app. The tracking was spot on the entire race and made it possible for me to see to them on the course and show my support. I love that I didn’t have to have cell service to still track them while I was out. I highly recommend this app to track your runner on marathon day.
