Access to Navigation in BMW MOA app
Access to Navigation is a paid function in the BMW MOA app. You can subscribe on 1 year for getting access. For making a subscribtion in the BMW MOA app, open "Navigation" from the menu and tap on the purchase button. Yearly Navigation Subscription automatically renews yearly unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You may turn off auto-renewal after purchase by going to your iTunes Account Settings.
You can get 14 days free trial period if you sign-up in the BMW MOA app.
The navigation is a full turn-by-turn navigation which will voice guide you through the entire motorcycle ride. With the full integration of the navigation it is as easy as possible to find any event or tour and let the GPS navigation guide you.

Notification
You will be notified when reaching an important point of interest and BMW MOA will also send out messaged of relevance for a BMW rider.

Plus the new app be any more difficult to navigate. The designer and the people that signed off on this seeem to be intent on making it confusing. And yes I have built a few apps for my businesses

### 4/5 — Pretty good for motorcycle ride planning

This app isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty good. I’ve had a couple of times where the navigation wouldn’t start and would appear hung, but an app restart fixed it. As others have said there’s also a learning curve if all you’ve used is Apple or Google maps. I’d compare this to Garmin Basecamp without the need for dedicated GPS hardware. 

I used it to plan a couple of routes using a browser on a PC, then used the iPhone app to run and navigate the routes and it worked well. It does good things like auto-skip waypoints when you get close but pass them on a larger route. Unlike Apple Maps, this lets you have lots of Via points, and unlike Google Maps it won’t hound you endlessly about a faster route that saves you 2 minutes when you’re intentionally on a curvey and scenic road. 

If you want good in-city navigation that tells you the fastest route and which lane to get in at exactly the right time, use Apple Maps. This app doesn’t replace that. But if you want to plan, share, and ride your back road motorcycle routes this is pretty good. I ended up getting the subscription to use the Nav feature and I feel it was worth it.

It is a little hard on the battery so plan for a power cord to use this more than a couple of hours.

Still trying to figure out how tracking works, navigation looks straightforward but doesn’t allow you to avoid highways, give curvy road alternatives.

Now the tracker said I rode 53 miles but the tracker map shows less than 1 mile.
