### 2/5 — Missing several things

*2021-10-13, version 1.3.0*

It would be helpful to know what round is being played, have a picture of the players when you tap on their name, get stats on head to head. Really the same things that the ATP has for every tournament.

### 2/5 — Schedule of Play???

*2021-10-09, version 1.3.0*

How do you not have an easily accessible “schedule of play”? Attending the event and have to go onto their actual website to find it. May as well get the print out they have us 10 years ago.

### 2/5 — Lacks basic functionality

*2021-10-08, version 1.3.0*

The app doesn’t present a daily match schedule nor can you click on a player and get their bio. Compared to apps for other big tournaments this one is extremely frustrating and limited.

### 2/5 — Scores not updating

*2021-10-08, version 1.3.0*

Live score feature is WAY behind actual timing of matches. In a number of cases live scores show two matches playing at the same time on the same court. This app worked better 3 years ago.

### 1/5 — Will they ever improve this app?

*2021-10-07, version 1.3.0*

I downloaded this app yesterday & couldn’t easily find the information that most tennis fans would want- Order of play and draws. When I looked at reviews of the app they were all from 2-3 years ago (as the tournament didn’t happen in 2020) but none of the feedback has been used to improve the app!!

### 1/5 — App doesn't have option to buy tickets?!

*2021-10-01, version 1.3.0*

Weird. It's an event that you need to purchase a ticket to attend. But there's no such option.

### 2/5 — Hire an Intern

*2021-07-02, version 1.2.7*

Had it. Deleted it.
This app needs help. The “news” section is a joke.
The world knows the dates this October. We have known them for 3-4 days.
Do you think they can update the app?
Nope.
The same with the cancellations in 2020.
You would never know by the app.
Make the app valuable.

### 2/5 — Indian Wells BNP Paribas 2019

*2019-03-10, version 1.1.0*

Here at Indian Wells trying to use the live streaming and it works sporadically and most of the time never or cut out and kicks you off while using on my iPhone X using the open WiFi network. Won’t work on LTE. Player info is OK. Restaurant info is OK but should have ability to schedule for reservations and / order take out to speed things up and make more efficient. Come on Larry use your tech savvy knowledge and a few dollars of your Billions to improve this app for all of us Tennis fans

### 1/5 — Worst EVER

*2019-03-10, version 1.1.0*

Iv been coming to this tournament for 16 years, using this app as long as it’s been in use.... this version is absolutely worthless!!!

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2019-03-09, version 1.1.0*

This app is disappointing. Couldn’t get the “my schedule” feature to function, even with 20/20 vision, the type is too small to read (and doesn’t allow for”pinch” zooming, so had to purchase an “order of play” for $ because that feature was rendered useless and unreadable. For all the $$$ invested in the facility, would think that there would be some investment in making this app useful.

### 1/5 — Can’t see it

*2019-03-09, version 1.1.0*

I don’t like the format. Should have all Stadium 1 matches together, stadium 2 together etc... Then on top of that I can barely see the players and the times. It’s very small and I can’t make it bigger. If you look at the majority of the people at the tournament, we are over 50.

### 2/5 — C’Mon Guys! Really?!?

*2019-03-08, version 1.1.0*

This app is virtually useless. A lot of the players aren’t in here and the gyrations you have to go through to get the information you’re looking for is ridiculous. Apps have been around a while and so has this tournament. Get it together!

### 1/5 — Why doesn’t player search function work?

*2019-03-08, version 1.1.0*

When you search by first of last name the player doesn’t come up- sometimes it does by searching by country but sometimes not. How can you screw this simple search function up?

### 1/5 — Among The Worst

*2023-03-14*

Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament, but whatever they paid for the development of their app was too much. Including Juniors in the order of play without allowing for a filter to just see the WTA and ATP games that everyone is here to see is just the beginning. Try searching for a player. That function works but in order to remove the keyboard, you have to exit and restart the app. How about actually including the “not before start times” for both men and women? That info is simply basic level for an event like this. Finally, trying to locate details on the app is painful, and when actually located it turns out several of the details are just incorrect.

A fantastic, big money tournament with a junior league app!

### 1/5 — Disappointing app

*2022-03-22, version 1.3.3*

I ended up using the ATP app to follow the 2022 IW tournament.

I did not find an option to favorite players & receive notifications for their matches.

Seems like it is becoming more expensive & more complicated to follow tennis, which will likely limit development of future fanbase.

### 1/5 — Inadequate

*2022-03-15, version 1.3.3*

The players summary of match outcomes doesn’t list which stage of the round they are in… so you have to click further in to determine….helps to browse quickly if available.

### 1/5 — Draws not available?!

*2022-03-12, version 1.3.3*

Can’t even view the draw with this app. Also, takes more steps to view a player profile. Would be much more appealing to be able to tap on a players name during the match while viewing scores to see bio information, etc.

### 1/5 — Used to be great

*2022-03-09, version 1.3.3*

Schedule of play??? There are scores but to navigate through live, upcoming and completed ones -total mess!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2021-10-16, version 1.3.0*

I’m a tennis fan and the tournament in Indian Wells is my favorite. I have been visiting this event every year since 2009. The organization and facilities are AMAZING - hands down.
The App……..this year is the app it’s not bad, it’s TERRIBLE to navigate and find what you need. It needs to improve a LOT, to be more user friendly and be a reflection on the PERFECT TENNIS TOURNAMENT.

### 1/5 — Awful; nearly worthless

*2021-10-12, version 1.3.0*

This is has so little and the section on the players isn’t even complete. It easier and more accurate to just do general web searches doe the information. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Where is the Draw menu????

*2021-10-10, version 1.3.0*

The draw is either not in the app or well hidden
I guess the developers don’t know anything about tennis?

### 1/5 — BNP Paribas 2021 (Indian Wells)

*2021-10-08, version 1.3.0*

This is probably the worst version of this (any?) app ever. (It has been a decent app in the past however). Forget trying to follow the draws, or the lined up matches for a given court on any day, or look ahead a day or two at the schedule/order of play. Had to go to ESPN to view accurate live scores which updated sporadically, if at all, on this app

Trying to figure out the necessary preparations and changes for this event due to COVID was a mess. Wonder how many attendees got it all right on arrival! No mention anywhere whether ticket sales were being limited.

Love this event. Extremely disappointing app and communication to the attendees.

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2021-10-08, version 1.3.0*

Worst ever update. Where are the draws, schedules and pretty much everything???

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Better Than Some Majors

*2022-03-13, version 1.3.3*

This is a very well organized app. Much better than the French and Australian open apps

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2019-03-18, version 1.2.0*

We used this app for 3 days of the 2019 tournament. We didn’t have any problems described in some of the other reviews and loved how the scores showed game progress (as compared to some sports apps like ESPN or The Score). Would definitely use the app again when we return to this tournament in the future!

### 5/5 — The perfect pocket companion

*2018-04-20, version 1.0.3*

Loved the practice court schedule, live scoring and ability to follow players. So glad I downloaded!

### 5/5 — Great

*2018-03-07, version 1.0.2*

Works great for me. Everything I need during this years open

### 4/5 — Good update

*2019-03-08, version 1.1.0*

The 2019 version seems to work better than the 2018 version!

### 3/5 — Pretty good but could be organized better

*2019-03-13, version 1.2.0*

App is nice but scores and scheduling could be presented better. Instead of listings each match in order separately by court. All the matches for the day should be listed in order by court so you don’t need to scroll up and down to find out which match is scheduled next for a particular court. Practice court schedule should be presented same way. Also when you touch the draw icon it shows Men’s doubles first instead of Men’s singles.

### 2/5 — Somewhat better than nothing

*2023-03-13*

I've used this years past and found it helpful. This year, not so much. No order of play by court - you must scroll endlessly. Quite the lag in match score updates. All but useless in the Garden due to inadequate Wi-Fi and tens of thousands on their phones!

What's worst in my opinion is no more streaming matches. So I just spent five days watching the first week but I can barely follow the rest of the tournament. I must make due with what tennis channel deems most worthy of televising. Very frustrating for a true fan. We've attended every year of the past ten, even making the shoehorned October dates! Please try to do better.

### 2/5 — Eh…

*2022-03-26, version 1.3.3*

Could work better. Finding or buying tickets is cumbersome and definitely beware. You could mistakenly purchase the incorrect ticket date! Then there’s absolutely no recourse for ANY refund nor an exchange! So aggravating. Zero customer services and reprieve on it.

### 2/5 — Weak

*2022-03-19, version 1.3.3*

For a tournament of this magnitude, the app is lame. Basically will tell you scores and schedule. Draws for singles only, no doubles draws, and the singles draws are hard to negotiate. No list of seeds. Player info is slim. Unless you are attending the tourney, this adds nothing you can’t get from ESPN, or yahoo sports or similar. The reviews from those attending don’t seem very favorable either.

### 2/5 — Not as good as grand slam apps

*2022-03-14, version 1.3.3*

This app isn’t as good as the apps for the grand slam events. It should be because it’s supposedly the 5th slam and the event is the baby of a tech giant. However, it isn’t as good as it could be. Bad draws access, lacking content, screwy time-zones, among other problems…
