I like that it is simple and has large numbers, but the watch feature is too unreliable. Sometimes I have to touch it three or four times to get it to start or stop. After more investigation, we were able to reproduce the issue — it was a launch crash that affected iPad, introduced around iOS 26. We’ve fixed it in version 2.6.13, which is now available. Could you update to the latest version and check whether it launches correctly for you? Thanks again for the report, and please let us know if you run into anything else! ### 1/5 — Why did you remove the time shown? *2024-04-18* I’ve used this app for years to time my Pilates classes while I teach since it has a large and simple face and easy to start/stop/reset the counter. The newest update no longer shows the actual time within the interface anymore. I need both the stopwatch counter and the time shown so I know how much class time is left, etc. Why did you remove this from the interface, and why is it so hard to find a replacement app now? But I found that when recording a workout on my Apple Watch at the same time as trying to use the stopwatch, the Workout app always displayed. If I selected the stopwatch, after a moment it would disappear and Workout would display instead. This behaviour rendered this stopwatch app unusable. Works fine with built-in standard stopwatch. I’m using the current latest operating systems, 16.1 on iPhone and 9.1 on Apple Watch. ### 1/5 — Секундомер *2020-07-16* Приложение казалось отличным, пока не увидел на пол-экрана рекламу, которую не убрать! Сделайте пожалуйста так чтобы можно было удерживать само время на секундомере отпускать и пойдёт отщёт. ### 2/5 — Closes Itself *2018-12-06* This app will not remain on the main screen but has to be reopened whenever the watch face blanks. This means that if you are timing something you cannot just look down at your watch and see how long it has been. **Developer response:** Thank you for the report. This is a known watchOS limitation — the app is suspended when the watch screen dims, and BNStopwatch doesn't currently support the Always On Display mode. It was surprisingly hard to find a basic stopwatch app; most were very complicated and hard to use. This app is perfect. A single timer that keeps track of lap times if you need that. The only features I’d request is the ability to select any color for the foreground and background, and some choices for the font.
