The app hasn’t worked for 2 days this past week. I can’t log in and pick my items. ### 3/5 — cute clothes, bad app user experience *2026-04-04, version 2.2.1* I used to use Rent The Runway, switched to BNTO and I love the styles way better. However, I’ve been using BNTO for 6 months, waited long enough for the developer to improve this bugging UI before leaving this review. Every listing takes forever to be favored and organized into the folders, and you can’t add a listing to multiple folders at once. It doesn’t seem like a big deal but a clothing renting service very dependent on users to favorite enough items so we always have something available to rent. And the app would keep crashing out. It gets really annoying and a waste of time when I try to rent something and the app keeps crashing out and I have to close and reopen the app to find my way back to the listing I was just at. The rental options are much more my style compared to other rental companies. There should be better options for keywords and I haven’t been able to search certain terms that helped me find the right product. There aren’t a lot of categories either when you look on the homepage, the side panel is pretty good and has the most recent items. You can actually find unique pieces, high quality brands, statement pieces, brands you may have never heard of, and SO much more. There’s truly something for everyone and I’ve had such good luck reading reviews to figure out sizes to order or how things fit! Every item I’ve rented has come exactly how I expected, they ship everything so fast and make it so easy to return, + I feel like it’s more affordable than other options out there! The app is also extremely user friendly, so easy to navigate and save items, they even have a feature that helps curate pieces for you! Highly recommend for those that want unique expensive finds without committing to buying them full price or only wearing it once! The best part is you CAN purchase items that you love and you get a credit for every month you rent that you can use for a later purchase. Because I’ve been using BNTO so much, i’ve actually cleared out so much of my closet. I keep my closet to everyday basics and use BNTO for when I have plans or events. It makes life so much easier because half the time it takes for me to get ready is spent on trying to figure out an outfit. I also love the credit system to eventually save up to keep a piece! The only qualm I have is I wish things like accessories (scarfs, leg warmers, earrings, belts) didn’t count as a full rental piece. I don’t feel like I get much bang for my buck there. I also wish the “new arrivals” section was organized a bit better as sometimes it glitches. ### 5/5 — 10/10 service and subscription price *2026-01-27, version 2.2.1* I’ve tried a few different clothing rental apps, and BNTO has easily been my favorite. I love the style of the clothing. They feature a lot of independent and emerging brands that I’ve followed for a while and now I get to try them out via BNTO. The subscription price feels fair for what you get, and I really appreciate the $20 monthly credit you can use toward purchases. That perk alone makes it stand out. Almost nothing in season is ever available, and anything decent like most of their coats are extra $$$ on top of the subscription. Also, there are frequent bugs like filters don’t work correctly, and unavailable items are often shown as available. Paying a premium for a clothing rental service means trusting that items are actually cleaned. Mine weren’t. No QA was done, and I cancelled as a result. ### 1/5 — Stick with Nuuly *2026-01-07, version 2.1.12* I switched to BNTO after seeing the brands and styles they offered. It was great for a few months in early 2025, but now I haven't fulfilled an order in 2 months because everything that looks remotely warm has been out of stock every single time I check the app. Not to mention the app is a terrible user experience. However the app seems glitchy. I love to filter by newest but it always shows me random things that have been around for months. Which kind of makes it a challenge to see what is actually new. ### 2/5 — You can look, but you can’t touch….because nothing you like is actually available. *2026-01-10, version 2.1.12* I used Nuuly last month, but BNTO is more my vibe and wanted to give both a try. Spent tons of time picking out a bunch of cool stuff, but out of probably 150+ different items I saved to capsules from a multitude of brands, maybe 20 were actually available to rent in my size (M/L) and all random stuff - like I’m not going to rent 4 pairs of jeans that all look the same and a bag for $100. I’ve been sitting on this app for months, convincing myself it was worth the money. And I am inundated with your ads on social media daily. So, I was disappointed to not be able to rent something I liked, especially when I had just saved so many options. I know you are moving warehouses so my hope is that you have plans for a big inventory increase. And kudos because the shortage issue is likely due to growing popularity and that’s an awesome problem to have. However, I can only assume that a lot of potential subscribers are experiencing the same and taking their money to Nuuly, which is a bummer because your clothes are 100x better 😢 ### 2/5 — Mediocre at best *2025-10-05, version 2.0.6* Overall app functionality is lacks finesse to make it seamless to use. ### 2/5 — Shipping takes too long for it to be worth it *2025-08-19* The clothing options are much more unique and trendy than what I found with Rent the Runway, which I used before. Like RTR, though, many items end up unavailable. My biggest frustration is the shipping. It takes over a week for clothes to arrive after I place an order, and then about another week for the return to process after I drop it off at UPS. That means half the month’s subscription is eaten up with clothes in transit if I want to exchange pieces. Right now I’m waiting for my last return to reach their facility before they’ll even send my new shipment, and it makes the whole process tedious and tough to plan around trips or events. I’m not sure if I’ll keep the subscription, which is a shame because the clothes are fantastic and I’ve discovered brands I’d never heard of and now love. **Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your sincere feedback, and I'm so glad to hear that you're loving the assortment of brands and styles! For starters, the designers are all emerging brands that I would otherwise not know about or have little access to. The quality of the product is excellent and the S&R process is easy and quick! I have the first world dilemma of having limited closet space and a deep love for fashion, so BNTO makes it easy for me to try new styles without have to commit or completely max out my bank account and my closet space. I recommend this service to the people I love as well as the internet! I also get soooo many compliments on the pieces I rent. Have been for about 5 years now, and can say BNTO has some of the most unique clothing selection. I never feel like what I am renting is the same as what everyone else has! Pricing is on par and I am always finding new brands that I love from them. Plus the accessories and bags really make it next level! I’m glad to have discovered BNTO. I’ve been using BNTO for 7 months and I’m really happy with it. The pieces they carry are truly unique, some are like art, with silhouettes, patterns, and materials that I have not seen anywhere else. The app is easy to use and does a good job featuring new designers. While BNTO does have a drawback keeping things in stock it’s not impossible to order items. I try never to get attached to a singular piece, rather when it’s time to pick my new monthly delivery I filter by whats in stock so there’s no heartbreak. If you're looking to diversify your wardrobe it's a blast! I do wish they had slightly more specific filters, like filtering by Warm/Cold Weather or by Occasion.
