One of the worst apps ever. Half the time when you place an order, the app just crashes. The other half the time when you can place an order, it spams you with five different notifications about “Try our IPA” “Try our Chips”, etc. Really embarrassing for a great brand to be represented by a really awful app. **Developer response:** Sorry for the previously poor experience! We had to remove locations from the old app so we could roll out our new online ordering site and app. Please check out the updated version of our app 10.1. We are positive you'll appreciate the new experience. All the Best - B&B ### 1/5 — Love the food hate the app *2024-04-17* App doesn't work, you enter your order and all of your cc info then at the very end it says that an error occurred and the transaction didn't go through. Same through their website, so you have to call. ### 1/5 — This App crashes a lot *2024-04-15* It’s highly disappointing to carefully select your sandwiches with mods and whatnot but when you go to pay it crashes. You are losing money Board and Brew! Get this fixed. It’s been broken off/on for at least one year. ### 1/5 — Crashes and lacks common features *2024-03-11* App is prone to crashing while ordering, and lacks the feature of using Apple Pay to pay for orders. No real reason to use an account either unless you care about tracking orders. UI feels clunky as well. Just terrible. I tried TWICE to place ASAP orders and TWICE it scheduled them for tomorrow. It used to not do this. And there’s no option to cancel the order. Will just dispute the charges. Guess I should delete the app and stick to a different service to order my food here. Developers: FIX THIS NOW! ### 1/5 — Login then login again, then expect it to crash *2023-05-02* It prompts you to log in, then when I hit order my usual it asks me to log in again. Once I’ve logged in twice the app crashes and goes back to the start. Literally unusable, the website is also very hard to use and requires me to take 15 minutes to place an order. Honestly you should take down this app as it does more harm than good to your brand name. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2023-04-17, version 1.0.0* It never widhz work. Go through the whole process to have if not save you credit card info. Just order in store. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2023-03-18, version 1.0.0* The only reason to have this app is to order food. It does not work. ### 1/5 — Glitchy mess *2023-03-09* I was hoping it works be an easy quick ordering process. But Every time I put my order in, I get a notification that my card was charged. But apparently it’s just a soft hold and my order doesn’t go through. Checked past orders no order. Card never charged. And then the app just closes for no reason. I’ll stick to online ordering without using the app. ### 1/5 — Really terrible *2023-01-05* This app is a nightmare. The interface is clunky, it’s very hard to navigate through it without losing progress, and - best of all - it charged my credit card for a purchase but errored out and the store had no record of my order. When I told them I ordered through the app, it charged me, and they didn’t have any record of the transaction or order, the guy at the store said, “Yeah, it does that sometimes.” So, you KNOW that your app charges people for orders but doesn’t send them to the store and you still promote the app on your website? Board and Brew: Great sandwiches, terrible app. Argh. ### 1/5 — Love your sandwiches but… *2022-09-06, version 1.0.0* Ok. No Apple Pay? In 2022?! Really?! Also, glitchy app, crashes if you don’t do things in precise order. ### 1/5 — Your app stinks! *2022-05-18* Anybody that has lazy technology to “help” make things easier deserves all the lost business due to cutting corners. Your app didn’t work last year. It doesn’t work this year. I’m good for a chicken club once a week and you’ve made it really irritating so I’m gonna leave a review and bow out. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — no menu *2025-12-06, version 10.2* i love board & brew, but their app SUCKS! there’s only about 6 items on the app to choose from, not their usual menu. it’s a nightmare to navigate and you lose progress very easily. you’ll be in the middle of ordering and if you go back, it starts you over. there’s literally 6 items on the app and that’s it. super pointless. i’d just call ahead or order in person. ### 1/5 — order is almost always wrong on the app *2025-08-12* amazing food, poorly designed app. i always select “no jack cheese” due to a health condition requiring me to limit daily fat intake (esp saturated fat), and in their system, this translates to “add jack cheese.” there were several other cases in which they’d give me a completely different set of toppings from another sandwich, too. tl;dr don’t use the app, just order in-person during off-peak hours, which is basically only right when they open at 10:30am. ### 1/5 — Love Their Food, NOT their app *2025-05-26* Don’t get me wrong, I am not rating board & brew food, but this application is pointless. I’ve eaten here my whole life and there’s no reward system, no offers, this is the most pointless app to have on your phone. Just use the online order method on Google instead of taking up space on your phone to use this. If the owner of Board and Brew is reading this, I hope this is in early development. Hopefully one day you’ll have a reward system, until then this is a pointless one star application. ### 1/5 — Location doesn’t work *2025-02-04, version 10.0.3* There’s a board and brew down the street from me and it doesn’t show up on the app ### 1/5 — No locations?! *2025-02-01, version 10.0.3* Couldn’t place an order because no locations were found, although I live less than 3 miles from a Board and Brew. Tried using the zip code and then the city, and then the state - still no locations loaded. ### 1/5 — Love the food but the app is horrendous *2025-01-29* Worked once and now just straight up won’t even let me choose my location or start my order. My previous order is no longer there and crashed 3 times trying to even open the thing. The sandwiches are fantastic but it’s a nightmare to order.
