BoardFoot Yield Planner turns rough lumber dimensions into board feet, yield-adjusted purchase quantity, and material cost before a lumber-yard run.

Use it to:

- add multiple lumber lines by species, board group, or thickness
- enter inch fractions such as 3/4 and 1 1/2
- use quarter thickness such as 4/4, 5/4, and 8/4
- apply waste and usable-yield assumptions for milling loss, defects, and cut selection
- estimate cost from manual price-per-board-foot inputs
- save local purchase sheets and share a plain-text lumber summary
