## What is BoardTally?

BoardTally is the board foot calculator that speaks lumber. Quarters, fractions, log rules, waste, and your suppliers' prices — built for the way wood is actually bought and sold.

Made for woodworkers, sawmill operators, carpenters and anyone standing in a lumber yard doing math on a tailgate.

BOARD FEET, THE RIGHT WAY
- Enter thickness as 4/4, 5/4, 8/4 — the way real yards sell hardwood
- Or use fractions (1 1/2), decimals, or full metric (mm and meters)
- Nominal rounding shows exactly what you'll be charged ("counts as 5/4")
- Price per board foot turns volume into cost instantly
- Waste allowance included in every total, never lost

LOG SCALING BUILT IN
- Doyle, Scribner and International 1/4" rules side by side
- Small-end diameter and length, instant board feet
- Sheet goods calculator for plywood runs

YOUR SPECIES, YOUR PRICES
Save Walnut at $12.50, White Oak at $8.99 — pick a species and the cost fills itself in. Your price list, always in your pocket.

PROJECTS THAT ADD UP
- Group boards into projects with quantities and per-line waste
- Totals for raw board feet, billable board feet and cost — always consistent
- Calculation history you can reload with a tap

YOUR DATA IS YOURS
- No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking
- Private iCloud sync across your devices
- Works offline in the shop or at the yard

BOARDTALLY PRO
One simple upgrade, available as a one-time Lifetime purchase (pay once, own it forever) or an annual subscription:

- PDF lumber order with per-species totals — hand it to the yard
