While I am connected to my device, nearby users are sometimes able to connect to the neckband automatically without my permission. When this happens, my audio playback stops, and I can hear audio or voice from the other user’s device. This raises concerns regarding both privacy and security. I have also installed the boAt Hearables iOS app, but Rockerz 255 Pro+ does not appear in the list of supported devices, so I am unable to manage any connection or pairing settings through the app. Could you please help me with the following: How can I prevent unauthorized devices from connecting to my neckband? Is there a way to make the device private or require permission before pairing? Is there any firmware update available to resolve this issue? If this is a hardware or firmware defect, what are the available replacement or warranty options? I have already tried resetting and reconnecting the device, but the issue persists. One bud wasn’t working, I thought it was defective. I then realised that I hadn’t charged. So first time charge fully before setting up. The are the best earbuds at surprisingly reasonable price. ### 1/5 — App issue *2026-03-08* I recently purchased the boAt Airdopes Loop open-ear earphones through the boAt app. However, I am facing a major issue with the app support. The earphones are not recognized in the app through Bluetooth. Even when I try to connect them manually, the device does not appear in the list of supported earphones. Strangely, the product is available for purchase in the app, but it seems the app itself does not support or recognize it. Because of this, I cannot use the app features that are supposed to work with the earphones. This defeats the purpose of having an official app for the product. If the earphones are being sold through the app, they should also be fully supported by it. The developers should update the app so that users can properly connect and manage their devices.
