## What is Boat Records?

Your boat’s history, ready whenever you need it.

Keep your vessel, equipment, maintenance and documents together in one private iPhone app. Work offline, build a clear service history and share organized records when you need them.

YOUR BOAT AND EQUIPMENT
Create a workspace for each boat. Keep its profile, registration details, equipment, serial numbers, installation dates and warranties close at hand. Add your own boat photo or use the bundled boat-type illustrations.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE HISTORY
Plan tasks by date or engine hours. Record readings, completed work, costs, service providers and notes. Link receipts from your document vault and keep a durable timeline of what was done.

DOCUMENTS AND CHECKLISTS
Import manuals, certificates, receipts and inspection notes from Files, or scan pages with the camera. Preview and search saved records offline. Build reusable checklists and preserve completed runs.

EXPORT AND RECOVERY
Records JSON backups and maintenance CSV exports are free. JSON contains record data; keep original attachments separately. Boat Records Pro adds PDF dossier exports and document packages with available local files and custom boat photos.

PRIVATE AND LOCAL
No account is required. Your records and files stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. Device backups follow your iPhone settings. Boat Records does not provide live cross-device sync.

OPTIONAL BOAT RECORDS PRO
Monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions unlock the same premium export features. Current prices and billing periods are shown before purchase. Apple handles payment and subscription management. Everyday records and free JSON/CSV exports remain available without Pro.
