My local radio station doesn’t play enough of the show and I hate their music so I downloaded the app for my commute. It works 50% of the time. When it works it’s great, but it often shuts down for no reason and it takes a long time to get started. One of the forced ads in the beginning leaves no way to exit so if that one comes up I have to close and start the process again. Recently the app completely stopped working and says it can’t connect to network, so I deleted and redownloaded, we’ll see if it works for my drive this morning. ### 2/5 — Downloading no longer works *2019-10-09* Love the show guys and the app however the downloading podcasts feature no longer works ### 2/5 — Love the Show hate the app *2019-09-21, version 6.9.0* I LOVE listening to Bob and Sheri, but ever since the last update I can’t listen to them when I run or on the go. When my phone locks after inactivity the audio stops, when I minimize the app the audio stops. This makes it extremely difficult to listen to the show in the app. I’m in an area where I can’t listen to the show on my radio. The station doesn’t come in well at all. Please fix this issue so I can listen to Bob and Sheri again. ### 2/5 — Content Fabulous, technology needs work *2019-08-30, version 6.9.0* It seems I have the same things to say! Love Bob and Sheri, Todd and Max But the app is very technically inconsistent. I try to hang on but I end up switching to another podcast because I have to get ish done! Love the show! I was excited that I could listen later in the day since I work early but man is this app frustrating! If I have to pause a show it usually won’t go back to where I was when I return and it will cut off right during my podcasts. I was listening to them on the radio before Sheri was ever married and Bob was on second marriage. Yes, before blue tooth was invented. So it is both frustrating (and dangerous when driving) when the app just drops. Or I pause in a show and then get sent back to the beginning. It could just be me. I’d like the bugs worked out. ### 2/5 — App just doesn’t work *2018-08-17, version 6.5.1* The app is awful. It keeps playing after I close the app or get out of the car. I can’t tell where I left off on an episode and it jumps around between episodes. I’ve listened to the same segments about 10 times and know I’m missing parts of episodes but can’t figure out what. I’ll just have to wait to listen until the show is loading to Apple Podcasts again. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2018-08-17, version 6.5.1* I was so excited about this app but it is just horrible. It plays on it own if your listening on the iPhone. It’s hard to continue listening where you left off because it updates every time you open the app and instead of playing the last episode you were listening to it plays whatever it wants. It’s to frustrating! ### 1/5 — App Not Working Anymore *2018-07-29, version 6.5.1* Since the app updated about 2 months ago, I have yet to be able to go on and listen to the Oddcast. I have stitcher for normal airings, but i can only listen to the oddcast on the app and it isn’t working. Everything else remains functional. I can download episodes and the ads play just fine. The newest update didn’t fix anything. I have tried on the latest iPhone and the same issue. Sorry for the one star but the app falls way short and I cannot enjoy listening to the show through this avenue. ### 1/5 — App was working just fine *2020-01-01, version 6.9.0* The latest update broke this app even more. I can no longer download podcasts, app doesn’t continue playing in the background. So glad the ads play just fine now /s. Very frustrating because I love Bob&Sheri☹️ Just praying one day it will work like it should. ### 1/5 — App has some serious issues *2019-05-03, version 6.8.0* I loved listening to Bob and Sheri - both the podcast and the oddcast until a few days ago. Yep - the app is buggy, the ads can drive you nuts, and the playback cuts out with not notice and starts all over again. Then a few days ago, I listened the to oddcast and went to move to the prior podcast....and nothing. The app won’t play anything other than the one oddcast. I’ve deleted it and re-downloaded it and it still won’t work. They need to fix this quickly! It wasn’t great before for several reasons, but now the technical issues are really getting ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Please fix it!!! *2019-05-02, version 6.8.0* There are so many issues with this app, which I hate because I love Bob and Sheri! Like other reviews state: keeps playing after you shut it off; when you stop an episode, it doesn’t start where you left off; the automatic play episode is always the one you don’t want to listen to; MOST importantly, when I try to play an episode I want, it constantly says “buffering” but never actually starts. Please fix!!! ### 1/5 — Immediate Delete *2019-05-02, version 6.8.0* Tried to get the podcast because it wouldn’t download in iTunes. Downloaded this monstrosity and immediately the oddcast started playing (which I do not listen to and did not and would not download) and then video ADS started playing. Could not get back to the app. Overrun by ads. Ads playing on TOP of the Oddcast, which would not pause or stop. Immediately deleted. Stuck with iTunes. The content is there without gross ads asking me to play a devil character and gamble. HARD PASS. DELETED. ### 1/5 — Unfortunately, no more B&S *2018-08-22, version 6.6.1* I understand their need to make money and they deserve everything, but this app is functionally inept. When I download the episode, and stop and start playing, it has a huge delay making me think that it is streaming and you never actually download the file. I listen to podcasts using airpods and it will pause when i pull out my pods (as it should). However, when I go back, it loads to the latest podcast from the beginning, not my stopping point on the episode I was listening to. It also starts when my phone unlocks and start blasting sound even if I am not ready to listen again (this is my main reason for deleting). I hope they work through the kinks since they are no longer posting on Apple’s podcast site. I will try again in a couple of months. Great show and always worth a listen, but the app doesn’t cut it. ### 1/5 — Bad app *2018-08-22, version 6.5.1* Not ready for prime time for sure. Turn off auto-play and still auto plays. Says will pause for traffic app, but does not. Says will play in order, but will not. Etc. etc. Now they are trying to force us to use it by the podcasts no longer available in iTunes. Hate to say goodbye to Bob & Sheri, but this app is way too annoying to use. ### 1/5 — So sad . . . *2018-08-18, version 6.5.1* I’m so sad this podcast player doesn’t work well. It glitches out regularly, AND I don’t like that the dates aren’t on each episode or that you don’t immediately know which one is playing when you open it up. I’m also sad that I can’t get Bob & Sheri on another podcast player any more.
