I asked support about this and they said I should create a new account instead. This is not possible, since my miners are located hours away from me, and I would have to delete and repair them with my new account. Please just let me change my account’s email in app! **Developer response:** We've passed this change email feature request over to our developers to make them aware. Once onboarded, the miner dashboard has an API error that does load the witnesses/rewards. Please fix! **Developer response:** We apologize for these issues. Setting up their miners is no walk in the park either. Then I hooked up WiFi and tried to set location, it finds location but just spins instead of locking it in. Still not online. Working on the 6 attempt now! SMH ### 1/5 — Scam and the app is a joke *2022-07-19, version 3.20.8* IT director here. If you have not bought a bobcat -STOP they are not worth the cost of postage now. Also in regards to this stupid app. It’s a joke. It’s next to impossible to use. You most likely will not be able to find how to register a new miner without support and there really is no support. It is designed to sell you more equipment not get you going. I respectful developer would make your on boarding easy. And I can’t register the miner on the Helium app so I have an expensive paper weight that I waited 7-8 months for and now I can’t even mine with it. ### 1/5 — This app is trash *2022-05-26, version 3.20.5* This is the most useless app. It is not user friendly at all. It takes forever to figure out what you need to do to setup your miner. Also, you still need to link your helium account in order to setup your miner. So what is the purpose of this app other than to piss you off! And you can't even post a review without picking nickname. They are all taken. ### 1/5 — Useless app *2022-05-23, version 3.20.5* Just use the helium app ### 2/5 — Major bug that can cost you money *2022-05-23, version 3.20.5* Warning! DO NOT use this app to assert the location of your hotspot. After you drop the pin it will move your asserted location about 6 houses away from where it was showing when you dropped the pin. In my case this put me in an overcrowded hex at 0.5 reward scale. I tried a few more times and kept canceling because it was not working properly. I had to pay $10 to assert the location again using the helium app to get the right spot and take advantage of the higher rewards scale. **Developer response:** Our apologies for the issues you had with assertion. Please login to access additional features.” And the app crashes and closes. As far as I can tell there is no opportunity to login given. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Error with connection *2023-11-12* I tried this app and the helium app to connect my phone to the device and I’m unable to do so, this is issue has been going for a year now and I’m not really making anything from this crypto miner. Clicking other items in their app results in 404 errors. Like who is developing this app and do they even care anymore? I recommend waiting until they get the next version out likely in May. Every time I click on my hotspots information. Then I have the Helium hotspot app connected and I believe also the Bobber app connected to the same miner??? The worst problem is that I said ok I will let this play out & now I was at $1.05 rewards so far after 3 days, what happened to my rewards because now the app is saying I only have 0.08 cents in my wallet how is that possible when I have touch code apple phone so NOONE can get into my phone?? As for other negative app ratings should refrain from lumping hardware ratings in with the app ratings IMHO. Their are a lot of variables to consider such as location elevation, hex density, antenna type, antenna length, and antenna placement. I suggest joining the Helium discord, watch some YouTube and reading other online documentation before setting up your miner to get best results. Miner hardware shipping times from China suppliers were 6 to 8 months due to the COVID pandemic. This also has nothing to do with developer app ratings. Do Your Own Research, especially if you are not technical. And for the view of all your miners and the ability to get near real time data including; temperature, if its synced with the Blockchain, any issues, & actually being able to ; resync, fast sync, restart.. From your pocket, that's life changing! This app truly has made a Helium miners life easier. Use code for added bonus: passivebank ### 4/5 — Works for what it is. *2022-04-28, version 3.20.4* This app isnt amazing. But it works for what it is. Most people want things to work instantly but don’t realize syncing anything to a blockchain takes a bit of time. Set up instructions sent through email were more informative than the ones in the box. Fortunately the helium app walked me through the process fairly easily. I’m taking off a star because i can see how newbies can get confused by the process. Again setup isnt instant, i waited an hour for it to sync then i connected my helium account.
