The way to connect/divide zones can be improved. Also, the integration Skill in Alexa can be improved as well. When I connected to Alexa, I was hoping to ask for specific room cleaning, i.e: Alexa, clean the kitchen area (based on the zones created in the BobSweep app), but that is not an option, the only option in Alexa is to turn on and off, which is not really handy if you want to get only specific room cleaned. ### 2/5 — Very frustrating *2026-06-04, version v9.14.3* I went to create an account for the first time and it said the email was already in use. Mind you I just opened the box and downloaded the app and I've never used this before in my life. I tried to reset my password and I have done it several times and it is not sending a reset to my email. Therefore, I cannot use the phone function. Both are built well and work great with the app. I like the mapping features &The ability to make multiple schedules. Honestly wouldnt change anything. No AI customer service!! THAT MAKES THIS COMPANY SO WORTH IT. besides the product is well made and the app is always functional. ### 3/5 — Upgrade *2026-05-28, version v9.14.3* The app experience for our new bObsweep Maxim is much improved over the previous version for our Pethair Vision Plus. Overall, features are better organized, easier to understand, and more accessible. There are still some kinks to work out when fine-tuning mapping. Integration with Google Home is not straightforward, as the app generates a separate password for sign in and does not use the same login information as you would for their website. ### 5/5 — bObsweep *2026-05-27, version v9.14.3* I love my bObsweep! When there’s an issue it just sits there and no one even knows that it hasn’t finished cleaning. You have to go into the app and check for the error and the map to see where the vacuum had its issue. This seems like such a basic part of an app. I would never buy another BObsweep product until the app is updated to have that feature. ### 3/5 — Needs Updates *2026-05-02, version v9.14.3* I would like the app to show me when the dust container needs to be emptied. There is no way to tell because the bag is not see through and I have to keep buying more bags apparently. We have three cats and a baby so we need all the extra help we can get in between our deep cleans with our upright pet vacuum. This robot does the trick. Cleans efficiently and effectively across hardwoods, tile, and carpet. The auto empty feature is nice. The best part is how it maps the house in the app for efficient cleaning. I often ask Dustin to quick clean rooms and I select the rooms. Error messages tell me I must fill everything out, which I have. Have created an account by entering the required information. Then after doing so then can’t sign into the account I created, twice. You can’t view where the robot has cleaned anymore. It only shows the bad AI rendering of my apartment. ### 1/5 — keeps deleting my saved maps and now won’t let me even save a map. *2026-05-06* Update: it’s gotten worse. Now, when I remap the house, it won’t even let me save the new map. Why do I have to reap the house every time Dustin cleans! This is pointless. Overall, Dustin works very well. He only occasionally has issues getting stuck or location issues. When this occurs and his map gets distorted, the ideal is to just reload your saved map that you originally created and you’re good to go again. Unfortunately, Dustin will frequently delete the saved app. This requires me to completely remap the floor, relabel everything, create no sweep zones again, etc. This is time intensive and annoying that I have to keep redoing it. What is the point in saving a map if it doesn’t save???? ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2026-04-30, version v9.14.3* Nothing happens as written. Zero stars is more appropriate. Bob loses WiFi and will not reconnect. Then no way to go forward. I go back, my info all erased it wants me to sign up again. It also gets dirt, crumbs, and other messes that end up around the house. The mop works well and helps keep our floors clean. I like that it lifts the mops when it goes on rugs so they do not get wet. The best part is the auto-empty station. I do not have to empty it very often, which saves a lot of time. It was easy to set up, and it moves around the house without bumping into everything. It even goes around pet bowls and furniture. If you have pets or just want help keeping your floors clean, I think this robot vacuum is a great choice. ### 5/5 — Love Bob and the App *2026-06-09, version v9.14.3* I love our new Bobsweep and also the app. It’s very easy to start or stop Bob, ask him to do a quick or thorough clean, which rooms to go to, or the whole house. I am SO HAPPY!! Maxim is life changing and has brought so much happiness, seriously. The ease of set up, then just push a button and he goes on his way to cleaning! Our 3 year old talks to him like he’s a dog and everyone in our house thanks him as they walk past him or he goes by while cleaning. He’s really become part of the family!
