Here's why it's not in the app yet: our recognition model runs fully on-device and identifies cars in real time through the camera. That "spot it live" moment is also what keeps the game fair — every catch is a car you actually found. If we let you batch-identify photos from your gallery, anyone could mass-import car pictures from the internet and farm XP, rare catches, and leaderboard spots without ever spotting a car. We're actively working on how to prevent that kind of farming so we can bring batch identify to you in a way that's fair for everyone.
