## What is Body Vitals?

Know in 3 seconds if today is a push day or a recover day.

Body Vitals turns everything Apple Health already knows about you into one number, and puts it on your home screen. No account. No cloud. Nothing about your body ever leaves your iPhone.

ONE SCORE, NOT FORTY NUMBERS

Your readiness score runs 0 to 100 and answers a single question: train hard, or back off. It weighs HRV against your own baseline, plus sleep quality, resting heart rate, blood oxygen and training load. After 90 days it is calibrated to you, not to population averages.

Tap it and you see the arithmetic. Nothing is a black box.

THE WIDGET IS THE PRODUCT

Home screen, Lock Screen, StandBy. Most days you never open the app - you glance, you know, you get on with it. Widgets come in every size, and each one deep-links to the detail behind it.

MORNING REVEAL

A short daily briefing, ready before you pick up your phone. What changed overnight, what it means, and what to do about it today.

SEES WHAT NO SINGLE APP CAN

Body Vitals reads from Apple Health, where your other apps converge, and connects signals none of them see together:

- HRV down while caffeine is up - cut off earlier today
- Training load climbing while recovery slips - ease off
- Strong sleep and high HRV - green light

ECHO

Tag your day in ten seconds. Each morning Echo pairs what you did with what your body actually did, cites the research behind it, and tells you honestly when your own data disagrees. No language model, so nothing is invented.

ON YOUR WRIST

A dedicated Apple Watch app plus two complication styles - single metric, or a four-metric grid. Choose exactly which metrics appear, including live heart rate. Large Text mode for a glance mid-run.

VITALS CORE

Your data as a living organism that beats at your actual heart rate, breathes at your respiratory rate, and changes colour with your readiness. Hold your thumb on it and feel your own pulse.

GOES DEEPER WHEN YOU WANT IT TO

- On-device AI coaching, powered by Apple Intelligence
- Six composite scores: Longevity, Cardiovascular, Metabolic, Circadian, Mobility, Allostatic Load
- Biological age, tracked over time
- Personal Drivers - what measurably moves your numbers, from your own history
- Training: Zone 2, acute-to-chronic ratio, CTL/ATL/TSB
- Recovery: Sleep Debt, Daily Capacity, Recovery Forecast, Readiness Radar
- Chronotype, social jet lag and your optimal focus windows
- Cycle phase intelligence
- Medication and dose tracking
- Breathing trainer with HRV biofeedback
- Recovery Battery on your Lock Screen as a Live Activity
- Ten-page PDF health report
- Extra widgets, themes, and shareable cards

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE, NOT BY PROMISE

There is no Body Vitals account and no Body Vitals server. Readiness, coaching and every score are computed on your iPhone. AI coaching runs on Apple Intelligence, on device - no third-party AI service ever sees your health data.

WORKS WITH WHAT YOU ALREADY USE

Body Vitals reads Apple Health only. If Strava, Garmin, Oura, Whoop, Peloton, MyFitnessPal or anything else writes into HealthKit, those readings appear automatically with no syncing. HealthKit access is read-only - Body Vitals never writes to your Health data. Source attribution is shown so you know which device or app produced a number.

Available in 21 languages.

PRICING

The free tier is free forever, with no trial and no expiry: the widgets, your readiness score, 20+ metrics, trends and streaks.

Everything listed under "goes deeper", along with the Apple Watch app, Vitals Core and AI coaching, needs the full version - a weekly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase if you would rather own it outright. Family Sharing covers up to six people. If you bought the original lifetime version, you keep everything forever.

Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. Prices vary by region.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 4.1.1 — 2026-08-29

Body Vitals 4.1.1 (Kindly report any bug or feedbacks from app's Settings->Support or write to us at escapethematrix.app@outlook.com)

Full release notes: the detailed, long-form version of these notes ships in-app - Settings -> About -> What's New

Small fixes and polish.

Your morning briefing shows up even after a night with no sleep data - if your watch was charging, the Morning Reveal used to skip the day entirely. It now runs on your readiness alone.

Under-the-hood tidying - minor corrections and refinements.

Everything runs on-device. Your health data never leaves your iPhone.

### 4.1 — 2026-08-22

Body Vitals 4.1 (Kindly report any bug or feedbacks from app's Settings->Support or write to us at escapethematrix.app@outlook.com)

Full release notes: the detailed, long-form version of these notes ships in-app - Settings -> About -> What's New

Three fixes. One of them is worth updating for straight away.

Pro stays on while a payment is being retried - if a renewal failed, Apple keeps your access open for up to sixteen days while it retries. Body Vitals was reading the original renewal date, seeing it had passed, and dropping you to the free tier anyway. Pro now stays on for the whole retry window. If this affected you, Pro returns as soon as you update - nothing to restore.

Personal bests are announced when you actually set them - records cover the last 365 days, and the banner was comparing against an all-time best instead of that window. The two could drift apart, and a genuine new 365-day best could pass without a word. Both now measure the same thing.

The Cardio Recovery chart fits the screen - the sixty-workout history was drawn at a fixed bar size wider than a phone, so it ran off both edges and cut the heading in half. Bars are now sized from the space available.

Everything runs on-device. Your health data never leaves your iPhone.

### 4.0 — 2026-08-06

Body Vitals 4.0 (Kindly report any bug or feedbacks from app's Settings->Support or write to us at escapethematrix.app@outlook.com)

Full release notes: the detailed, long-form version of these notes ships in-app - Settings -> About -> What's New

Stability. Your day stays your day, wherever you are.

Fixed a crash after travelling - crossing time zones could make the app quit when you opened the Today tab. Two days recorded under different clocks could claim the same date; they are now merged instead of treated as impossible. Nothing you logged was lost.

The right day, in every region - date labels were following your region's calendar, so a 2026 day filed as Buddhist year 2569 on a Thai device. Dates are now written one fixed way everywhere, keeping your check-ins, tags and briefings attached to the day you lived them.

Steadier reading of Apple Health - an unexpected unit coming back from Health could close the app. Every reading is now checked before it is used, and an unusable one counts as missing rather than as a zero, so it cannot drag down an average or plant a false zero in a chart.

The right age on your birthday - the birthday greeting was naming an age one year too high on the day itself. Only the greeting was affected; Biological Age, Heart Age and the VO2 Max projection were always correct.

Everything runs on-device. Your health data never leaves your iPhone.

### 3.9 — 2026-08-01

Body Vitals 3.9 (Kindly report any bug or feedbacks from app's Settings->Support or write to us at escapethematrix.app@outlook.com)

Full release notes: the detailed, long-form version of these notes ships in-app - Settings -> About -> What's New

Tag your day. Wake up knowing what it did to you.

Echo (Pro) - tag your day in ten seconds and find out the next morning what those choices are linked to, and whether your body actually followed the pattern. Around 30 tags - sauna, cold plunge, alcohol, late meals, hard training, stress, travel, breathwork - each backed by a cited study and checked against your own HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, and readiness.

Nothing invented - every Echo line is authored and referenced, never AI-generated. Associations, not promises.

Your food shows up immediately - Nutrition x Recovery no longer looks empty until day fourteen. See every logged nutrient right away, with averages, a 14-day trend, and the exact time you logged it.

Alcohol x Recovery - drinking days, average, peak, and 30-day total visible from the first drink you log.

Your units, from the Health app - weight, height, distance, temperature and water now follow whatever you set in Health, each independently. Think in pounds but run in kilometres? Both, with nothing to configure. Stone works too, and a new Units section in Settings shows where to change each one.

New app icon - full-bleed dark artwork that belongs on a dark home screen, plus a tinted version for tinted home screens. Same icon on Apple Watch and inside the app.

Fixes - more accurate unit conversions on US devices, a corrected Wrist Temperature chart, cleaner AI insight text, and a rare background crash resolved.

Everything runs on-device. Your health data never leaves your iPhone.

### 3.8 — 2026-07-21

Body Vitals 3.7 (Kindly report any bug or feedbacks from app's Settings->Support or write to us at escapethematrix.app@outlook.com)

Full release notes: the detailed, long-form version of these notes ships in-app - Settings -> About -> What's New

A real sky, a sensory lab, your medications, and a coach that finally speaks with one voice.

Circadian Day Arc - a full-screen sky driven by real astronomy for your location: true sunrise and sunset, golden hours, and tonight's actual moon phase, with your Focus, Body, and Wind-down windows below. Drag to scrub time across the day.

Sensory Field Lab - a touch playground shaped by your readiness, live heart rate, HRV, and stress. Four worlds; feel your own heartbeat as haptics in Pulse.

Med Bay - your medications from Apple Health as a living record: adherence, a 30-day dose ribbon, streaks, and each one's measured association with your next-morning HRV, resting heart rate, and readiness. Honest "no clear effect" verdicts included.

Experiment Lab - run a structured 2-4 week n-of-1 trial and let your own data decide whether a habit actually works.

Hey Siri, am I ready to train? - ask for your readiness or training verdict, log your energy, or start a breathing session from Siri, Shortcuts, the Action Button, or Control Center.

One coach, one voice - every coaching surface now flows from a single daily verdict, so they can no longer disagree with each other.

Recovery Battery, rebuilt - a realistic Lock Screen and Dynamic Island battery with a live charge trend and an always-visible HRV / resting HR / sleep / SpO2 / steps panel.

A more cinematic app - gauge spin-ups with haptics, a plasma breathing orb, self-drawing charts, and a "systems online" launch. All respect Reduce Motion and Low Power Mode.

Fixes - Day Strain no longer reads 0.0 on active non-workout days, and the navigation bar can no longer disappear after an interrupted swipe-back.

Everything runs on-device. Your health data never leaves your iPhone.
