### 4/5 — Good, could be better

*2025-11-07, version 6.3.3*

I love the concept of this app. Overall it seems to have really great content. I’ve been trying to follow the Strength program and that’s where I run into issues.
The program has supersets that want you to jump from either machine to machine or from machine to dumbbells/barbells and/or jump boxes. Essentially it’s got you running all over the gym. The bigger problem is it’s one set here and one set there, so when you move from a leg curl to do split squats, you may have to wait for the leg curl machine because someone got on it when you stepped away. And the program expects you to do 5-10 sets. This just isn’t practical in any of the gyms I go to.

If there’s a way to tailor a program that allows you to do all sets at the same machine or area before moving on to the next, it would be appreciated!

### 3/5 — Please fix cardio option

*2025-08-01, version 6.2.0*

Overall like the app and the workouts. Have been using for close to 2 years. But please fix the guided cardio. When you go outside of the app like to check a text message it crashes the workout. The only way for the guided cardio to work is if you keep it open the entire time and do not leave the app. And yes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. This has been an ongoing issue for months now

### 3/5 — Pls Include Fiber in Macro Count!!!!!

*2025-07-19, version 6.2.0*

I enjoy the app. The glitches and slowness can be really frustrating. I wish there was more flexibility with creating meal plans. More than anything, though, PLEASE include fiber in the macro count. This is just as (if not more) important as the protein goals. I have asked about this before (maybe a year ago) and still nada. For an app I pay for, I would expect this to be included. I only haven’t left BL for a different app that does this because I haven’t had the time to find one. Pllleeeaaasseeeeeee add fiber tracking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

### 3/5 — Good app, some recommendations for improvements

*2025-06-27, version 6.1.8*

I have tried a fair number of fitness apps and I always find myself coming back to this one. I am not trying to be a body builder, I am busy, and I really just want to look good and maintain some level of muscle mass and cardiovascular endurance. I don’t have time for more than about 45 minutes for a workout each day, and I hate fighting over gym equipment at peak times of the day, so I prefer dumbbell strength workouts. The Tone program on this app is perfect for me. It’s 6 days per week: 3 strength, and 3 cardio & core. 30-45 min timeframe. I love it for my normal routine. What I don’t love is that you can’t go and pick a different workout to try once in a while. The app has a bunch of trainers, but you can’t really explore or even preview their workouts without completely switching to their program. For example, if I’m traveling and don’t have weights, I’d love to try some video workouts or just a random cardio workout, etc. There is not much flexibility to do that. Would be AMAZING if you made this better for the user. Secondly, the nutrition portion is lacking a bit. There’s a TON of good recipes on there, but if you want to take the guess work out and just follow a pre-prescribed plan, there’s only a couple to pick from and they don’t include a lot of variability in recipes available on the app. Also, on a different app I used to use, you could ask it to fill in your meal plan for a whole week and then it gave you the flexibility to change individual meals if you didn’t like what it automatically populated. For this app, if you pick one of the presets, it only applies it to that day, and you can’t change any of the meals. Also that’s just a lot of work to have to manually choose a preset for each day or alternatively manually choose all meals for each day. So anyway, some room for improvement. I use the app mostly for workouts so it’s not a dealbreaker, but improving the nutrition side would greatly increase the value for me.

### 3/5 — Great programs but faulty app

*2025-06-16, version 6.1.8*

I really enjoy the app. Easy to plug in goals. Easy to navigate. Clear workouts with form tips. Love. I could only give 3 stars bc the app itself is so glitchy… I’ve been using it for 3m and there isn’t a time I open it where it doesn’t freeze. I have to restart my app a lot bc it won’t load. It’s very slow and glitches a lot.

### 3/5 — Crashes a LOT

*2025-01-27, version 6.1.5*

The rutines are fine. The problem is the alternatives and the sets, sometimes the excersises are the same in the set and the alternatives are not different. Also the apps crashes a lot…

### 3/5 — This is only a review for the app itself

*2024-09-14, version 6.1.4*

I love the Bodylura program and Anna Victoria. This app however I’m slowly getting more and more annoyed with. You can’t physically delete messed up workouts. You can’t manually add your workouts (with the time) and since the app “unexpected errors) me often I have to go in and just add the check mark for my completed workout but can’t go back and see how I did on my times. I’m also a bit frustrated they got rid of the “alternate move” option for when you really don’t like a certain workout move and now have no option to do something else that is similar. The app updates a lot but still crashes way too often and the fact it crashes after I’ve completed a workout but then doesn’t submit it is infuriating.

### 3/5 — Great workouts. App not so much.

*2024-06-06, version 6.0.1*

Workouts are amazing. I typically start my week with lower body. Started up again on Sunday and have been sore all week (today is Wednesday).

App is glitchy. Freezes, logs off, and I have to fast forward my workout. It’s slow to catch up. I have updated the app regularly or as my phone prompts me to. Casting is such a HUGE pain. It’s the most annoying thing ever. One day it works, and then it won’t work for another few weeks. Says I need to make sure it’s connected to wifi - I stream everything so my tv is ALWAYS connected to my WiFi. Local network is ALWAYS connected as well. Having to workout off my phone is annoying and frustrating. This phone only app thing needs to go already. I have other workout programs that I use and I am always able to mirror/cast to my tv without issue.

### 5/5 — Great workouts for every level

*2024-04-10, version 5.2.0*

Great workouts for every level and very affordable. Worth every penny. Lots of recovery videos as well as meal tracking. Do it! You won’t regret it.

### 5/5 — Easy fun and productive!

*2024-04-10, version 5.2.0*

Great app!

### 4/5 — Great Workouts, but App is Glitchy

*2024-02-09, version 5.0.2*

I’ve been using the app for the past 5 weeks as I’m working towards completing the 12 week challenge. I’ve been doing the TONE program, and super excited where this is taking me and how it’s already improved my eating habits and my mental health. However, as much as I love what it’s done for me thus far the app makes it difficult to prepare for what the work out is going to be expecting of me. Not only does the app tend to close in the middle of cardio workouts when I’m trying to switch between it and my Spotify, but, the app also doesn’t load the images to see the examples of how the exercises should be performed. I have to take the time to Google the exercise names to get an idea of what I’m supposed to be doing, or look for alternatives. It can be a little annoying and tedious, but thankfully I’m not new to working out so I can figure it out. However for someone that may be new to this experience, it may be challenging and discouraging to continue the use of the programs and the app if this is what they’re facing.

### 5/5 — Healthy body and mind

*2024-01-23*

Love the app. Works great, minor issues are fixed within a day. Love how it is structured and how any fitness levels are set into recognition. I am a surgeon and it looks very healthy and doable to me.

### 5/5 — Just do it already!

*2024-01-12, version 5.0.1*

They can’t make it much easier for one to exercise at any level of fitness or expertise. All levels of fitness. Quick cardio burns. Tutorials. Nutrition. Macros. Recipes. Proper form tips etc. this is it for fitness apps! You’re going to feel so good so just do it already 😉

### 3/5 — Can’t cast onto TV

*2024-01-07, version 5.0.1*

App won’t let me cast workout videos onto my TV. Says it needs a local network and when I go to settings to turn that on, there’s no button for local network.

Love this app but I wish they had the cardio workout timer for elliptical. They don’t offer that anymore

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I HATE this app !!!

*2026-06-10, version 6.3.3*

Every time I leave the app to change my playlist, it literally starts my workout over FROM THE BEGINNING. Do better. Hire better software developers! Save people’s progress! Dumping this app when my year is over.

UPDATE: 6/10/2026:
- App is STILL crashing mid-workout.
- Owner of app is galavanting around Italy whilst customer service requests remain ignored.
- Typical grifter behavior.

### 1/5 — I HATE this app !!!

*2026-05-21, version 6.3.3*

Every time I leave the app to change my playlist, it literally starts my workout over FROM THE BEGINNING. Do better. Hire better software developers! Save people’s progress! Dumping this app when my year is over.

### 1/5 — Fourth Time Trying

*2025-03-02, version 6.1.6*

I have followed Anna Victoria since FBG was on paper format. I quit numerous times, and this time I’ve committed to getting healthy. I changed my diet, followed free online workout videos from others, and I lost over 30 pounds and gained muscle. I figured I would try this out again since I’ve done so well committing and thought it would be worth the investment. The previous time I quit was due to constant injury, thought it was due to running, but lo and behold I start this program again and am on my fourth workout and sure enough after just the first I was hurting. Now it’s not form because I’ve done ALL these exercises and more with more weight from other creators but I do this program and all of a sudden almost instantaneously I’m injured? It’s very disappointing, but her exercises just are too repetitive. I would recommend if you’re already fit but just starting out I would urge you to use caution as I’m not even a beginner and her program was too much following it as is. For something I paid for I should not have to be adjusting and modifying things. It’s also been years it seems since the meal plan was even gone over. I think this had the potential to be great but it just needs to be looked at again. I’m not injured and our money and back to free online workout videos for me it is.

### 1/5 — “Unexpected error, please reinstall” EVERY WEEK!

*2024-07-20, version 6.1.0*

This app used to be great, but crashing increasingly often in the past six months so that now, I am asked to “delete and reinstall“ once a week. So frustrating! I emailed their support hello@, NO RESPONSE. And yes, I’m on iPhone.

### 1/5 — Old user, back again and EXTREMELY disappointed

*2024-03-06*

I came back for the run strong program. It is REALLY bad. The proper tips are not included. The workout is just a few squats and lunges. I thought I would get the free trial and got charged immediately (I should’ve read the conditions better). Now I am stuck with an app that used to offer a lot. Now it’s just old programs “relaunched” and new coaches that offer very very little. Good app for beginners but if you workout regularly or if you’re looking for something to complement running, DO NOT use this. YouTube free workouts are more innovative, with more explanations and free for a month or more. With so many workout apps you would think you’d get quality from someone that has been on this world for years like Anna Victoria but it’s just the worst app I’ve seen

### 1/5 — Shady Review Practices

*2024-01-30, version 5.0.2*

Beware of trusting the reviews. The app forces you to answer whether you’re liking the app or not, and auto directs those who say “yes” to write a review and those who say “no” are directed to write the company an email. Meaning they preselect only the positive respondents to write reviews. Very sketchy! But I actually like the app but hate it when companies engage in this type of sketchy behaviour. It’s a turn off.

### 1/5 — Not working properly

*2022-08-17, version 4.5.6*

App is not working properly, i got stuck in one screen. After signup im getting lots of emails which are not helpful. Most of the reviews are probably bots.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2022-08-06, version 4.5.6*

When you subscribe for 1 week trial in the app, they ask you for credit card. It’s not supposed to be like that by Apple Store policy. So later you can’t cancel you subscription in the app so you have to go to the website where it says that subscription is not refundable

### 1/5 — It glitches too much

*2022-07-25, version 4.5.6*

The content is great. It crashes too much for what you pay for.

### 1/5 — Great then terrible

*2022-05-26, version 4.5.5*

I bought the year membership; loved it!!!! Used it for 8 days, now it has not worked the last 3 days. So disappointed! It started out so great. So I am behind on everything and so disappointed.

### 5/5 — The best fitness app there is!

*2024-07-22, version 6.1.0*

### 5/5 — Best app for at home workouts and gym

*2024-07-09, version 6.1.0*

I’ve paid for this app for several years now. It’s very affordable and has so many different programs to choose from. Whether you’re a beginner starting at home with little to no equipment or more advanced at a gym- there is a program you’ll find. It also had a fantastic online community and several challenges throughout the year to push you to get your workouts in!

### 5/5 — Huge fan & will always be

*2024-05-22, version 6.0.1*

I’ve been following along with Anna Victoria for over 5 years - likely longer. She’s incredible and encouraging and real. It was no brainer to download this app and it’s got better and better over time. I love it and its continual improvements. The programs and instructors are awesome and fun/easy to follow. There really is something for any type of person out there is already active or just starting out. Between different seasons of life I’ve done intermediate workouts and I’ve started from the beginning too. I also love the calendar aspect and the meal ideas! So many delicious and healthy options.
