## What is BodyTree?

BodyTree gives you a clear path from zero to advanced calisthenics. No gym required.

Built on proven calisthenics progression principles, BodyTree maps 251 exercises across 33 skill branches into a visual skill tree. Each exercise unlocks the next, so you always know where you stand and what to train next. An adaptive Training Coach picks what to work on next, and 100+ flexibility, mobility, and rehab routines keep you training without breaking down.

What makes it different:
  - Start training in seconds. Do a real first rep in a guided Day 0 session before any setup, and your skill tree and first week of training are built from the moves you just did
  - A visual skill tree showing your full progression path: push, pull, legs, core, and skills
  - 251 exercises from beginner fundamentals to advanced moves like planche, front lever, and handstand
  - Live Form Check: point your camera at yourself and BodyTree auto-times your isometric holds with a real-time skeleton overlay
  - A Training Coach that adapts to your progress and picks the right branch to focus on next
  - Every session explains itself. See why today's workout looks the way it does, what each block builds toward, and why every exercise made the cut
  - Auto-generated programs based on your goals and weekly availability, with warmups that match your level
  - Flexible scheduling: train ahead or make up a missed workout on any rest day, and your streak stays intact
  - Flexibility and mobility sessions with built-in rest, exercise demos, and hold-timer audio cues so you can focus, not watch a stopwatch
  - Rehab tracks for tendon and joint issues, built on clinical rehab references. Your plan lives on your home screen, and training can automatically go easier on exercises that stress the recovering area
  - A Community feed of proof clips people chose to share, playing as you scroll. Search for other athletes, follow the ones you want, and filter the feed to just them. Sharing is per video and off by default, so you decide what the world sees. Pull a clip back out of the tab whenever you change your mind, and report or block anything you'd rather not see
  - Log sets, reps, and holds, and watch your progress build over time
  - Progress Analytics with personal records, training trends, and workout history export. A written recap reads your last twelve weeks back to you and names any lift that has stopped moving, so a number stuck in place for a month finally says so
  - Milestone moments at day 14, 30, and 100 to mark how far you've come
  - Train anywhere: a park, a gym, or your living room

Whether you're doing your first push-up or chasing your first muscle-up, BodyTree keeps the next step always in front of you.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.9.0 — 2026-08-27

Your training, in plain English.

Progress Analytics used to hand you six charts and leave you to work out the story. Now it opens with your last twelve weeks written out: the sets you logged, how that compares with the twelve weeks before, how closely you are keeping to your schedule, and what you unlocked along the way. It also names the exercises that have stopped moving, because a lift stuck on the same number for a month is the one thing a bar chart is worst at telling you. Update now and keep climbing.

• Training Recap reads your last twelve weeks back to you, in sentences (Pro)
• Stalled lifts get called out by name, with a suggestion for breaking through
• Every figure comes straight from the sets you logged
• Proof videos are capped at 30 seconds whether you record one or pick one from your library
• Changes we make on our side reach you when you reopen the app, not only after a full restart

### 2.8.5 — 2026-08-26

Nothing you earn should go missing.

If a proof upload failed at the very last step, the video was stranded and you got nothing back: no proof, no progress. Those are found and finished for you now, so the proof lands and the skill unlocks the way it should have. Every proof already lost this way has been recovered. Signing in with Apple is steadier too. Update now and keep climbing.

• A proof stranded at the last step is finished for you instead of quietly disappearing
• The skill it earned unlocks the way it should have the first time
• Proofs lost to this before the fix have been found and put back
• Signing in with Apple no longer fails if you tap the button again before the first attempt finishes
• Bug fixes and performance improvements

### 2.8.3 — 2026-08-23

You can take a video back.

Every clip in the Community tab now carries its own menu. On your own videos that means Remove from Community, which pulls the clip out of the tab while it stays on your profile and your skill tree, and Delete proof for when you want it gone altogether. Sharing has been per video and off by default since Community launched, and now changing your mind is just as easy. Recording a proof also stops getting refused before it is even sent. Update now and keep climbing.

• Remove a video from Community, or delete it outright, from the menu on your own clip
• Report and Block are reachable on every card, including a feed showing only your own videos
• Proof videos are compressed before they upload on Android, so a clip from your gallery no longer sends hundreds of megabytes
• An upload that fails at the last step no longer leaves your video stranded with nothing to show for it
• Bug fixes and performance improvements

### 2.8.2 — 2026-08-20

Everything community, in one place.

The Community tab picks up the three controls that used to sit on a separate screen behind your profile: search for other athletes, a filter for everyone or only the people you follow, and the switch that makes your profile public or private. That second screen is gone, so there is one Community instead of two. Your profile opens on your real level and picture now, rather than flashing Level 1 first. Update now and keep climbing.

• Search, filter and the public/private switch now live on the Community tab
• Filter the feed to everyone or only the athletes you follow, and it remembers your choice
• The duplicate Community screen behind your profile is gone
• Your profile shows your level, picture and stats the moment it opens
• Bug fixes and performance improvements

### 2.8.1 — 2026-08-19

Your streak reminder now knows when to stop.

The daily nudge to keep your streak alive was set to repeat every day forever, with the count written into it at the moment it was scheduled. If your streak ended, the one case that should have cancelled the reminder was the one case that skipped the code that cancels it. So it kept arriving, with a number that was no longer true. It now clears itself properly and reads your live streak rather than a saved copy. Update now and keep climbing.

• Fixed the daily streak reminder repeating forever with a count that was out of date
• The reminder reads your live streak instead of a stored snapshot, so it goes quiet on the same app open that clears the streak
• Bug fixes and performance improvements
