Share button barely works. Tap zones need adjustment for new devices and new OS. ### 2/5 — Unable to use app as promised *2022-06-17* I had to downgrade to a student membership, as I cannot afford All-Access. Though the student membership promises the ability to use the app, the app says I must upgrade in order to log in. It’s all very confusing. Before downgrading, I was able to use the app, and it worked well. That is why I’m giving it two stars. ### 2/5 — Notifications *2021-01-25* Where do I find the Notification Center in the app? But I can not read even a WORD on this app just because I'm not the member. Is this made for rich people or something? I was offended when a message popped up when I tried to sign in telling me it’s for members only and even when I sign up for the account it was saying it was a basic one this is absolutely disgusting to me and just wrong i have to pay just to sign in? It takes considerably too much scrolling to read through an article which is counterproductive. Please get this app fixed and up to date as soon as it can be - it takes way less work than reporting on a new season of fashion regardless. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! Best wishes, Liam and The BoF Team. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I can’t see the main page *2025-02-15* Well I logged in however it doesn’t allow me to read anything ### 1/5 — Not good *2022-03-30* 1) The app doesn’t have all features which you can use on the laptop; 2) I didn't get the level of service I expected for the money I paid. They cancelled the course which I wanted to finish, but haven’t been able to do that. There was no notifications about that! 3) Additionally to that, the customer service is horrible - they never reply your emails. On Trustpilot I found many complains about that. To sum up, following my experience with BoF I wouldn’t recommend this website and their app ### 1/5 — Cannot View Anything *2021-08-08* My memberships specifically mentions included access to this app, yet when I log in, it says I need to upgrade my membership. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t include all articles *2021-07-03* As someone who reads the BoF emails, it’s frustrating to find that you can’t search and find all articles through the app and instead have to click through email links to a browser. Additionally, there is no ability in the latest app to save articles, which was a big draw for me in previous app versions. Lastly, why doesn’t BoF careers exist within the same app? ### 1/5 — Total disappointment *2021-04-13, version 2.3.3* I just registered to their RSS feed and found out that most of the new articles are not showing on the app, unless I copy paste the link on Safari and then let it redirect me to the app. The home page simply doesn’t list them, nor any other article categories. Plus, most of the new articles listed on the RSS ferd do not require a subscription at all: why am I paying for? Finally, there is no dark mode and the app is often blinding. All that is very upsetting. This is the last time I renew this (incredibly expensive) subscription. If you’re a professional like me, you can save the money and find better (and cheaper) options. ### 1/5 — Articles can hardly be openend *2020-09-18, version 2.3.1* This app is lousy. It is impossible to open “china decoded” articles. The app itself reacts slow and you constantly have to refresh manually to see new content. Cashing in hundreds of EUR for a membership and offering such a lousy app will make me skipping BoF next year. 🤬 ### 1/5 — Irrelevant App *2020-08-23* Users can not search the course in app and hence can not bookmark. Course and article links open in browser instead of app. What is the point basically of having an app that you can not use to read curated content! ### 1/5 — Paying customers only *2019-11-13* I have the free BOF membership, which allows me to read select articles via web. I can’t access ANY articles from the app with this membership. Super disappointing. Don’t even bother unless you have the advanced membership. ### 1/5 — App does not work for some reason *2019-10-01* I have tried numerous times to try and log in to this apparently on my phone and iPad but it tells me that my information is incorrect! It’s really annoying. I then try and log on to the desktop website and it works fine so I don’t know why I can’t log into the app I have installed and uninstalled the app a lot to see if that will fix the problem but it doesn’t I’ve even tried changing my password to no avail I don’t know what else to do **Developer response:** We're sorry to hear that you have been having problems with the BoF Professional App. We would love to talk to you about this more and get it resolved.
