BohraConnect is a private social and professional app for our Dawoodi Bohra community. Every new account is reviewed by community admins before it goes live, so you know who you are talking to. INVITES FOR EVERY OCCASION Send a beautiful invitation for a shaadi, nikah, majlis or family dinner. Add each function, such as mehndi, nikah and walima, with its own date, time and seats. Count gents and ladies separately, so you know the numbers for every thaal. Families reply together, and guests without the app can reply from a link. IMPORT YOUR GUEST LIST Already have your list in a spreadsheet? Download the template, fill one row per guest, and import an Excel or CSV file. Every row is checked before anything is added, and nothing is sent until you say so. THE BOHRA HIJRI CALENDAR See the whole Hijri month at a glance, with the English date on every day. Every miqaat is marked, along with the events you are hosting or invited to, and you get a reminder the day before. HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS Add a BohraConnect widget to your Home Screen to see today's Hijri date, today's miqaat and your next few days without opening the app. You can hide event names at any time. Lock Screen widgets show the Hijri date and miqaat only, never your events. TWO SIDES OF YOU One account, two profiles. Social mode for family and friends. Professional mode for your work, skills and business. Your feed, search and chats follow the mode you are in, so they never mix. JOBS Employers post roles at no cost. Members apply in one tap, and their Professional profile is the CV. SHOP Buy from businesses in our community. Sellers list products with sizes and stock, and you pay the seller directly by cash on delivery, bank transfer or mobile wallet. PRIVATE MESSAGES Encrypted messages and group chats for family and for work. Photos, voice notes and view-once media. Your key is held securely so your chats restore on a new phone. FEED, STORIES AND LIFE EVENTS Share photos, videos, stories and reels with people you know. Celebrate a nikah, a birthday or a new job with a Life Event post, and receive duas from our community. PAGES AND B-COINS Create a Page for your business or committee. Earn B-Coins for completing your profile and inviting family, and use them inside the app. B-Coins are in-app rewards and cannot be cashed out. YOUR PRIVACY Photos and videos are stored privately and shared only through short-lived links. You can block, report and delete your account at any time.
