BoI technical team seems to be totally disinterested in looking at this problem, let alone fixing it the way a quality bank would. So fed up with these guys! Application is not loading and getting "close the application " message every time. No update available to check. When I go to support application it is also giving error that page can not found. Then try to chat with boat BOI seva it is also giving same error. Means they don't want to solve or listen to your query. Giving 1 star wants to give 0 but it's not an option. The customer service is slow and often unhelpful, with staff showing little urgency in resolving issues. Basic banking processes take far longer than they should, and there seems to be a lack of coordination between departments. Online banking services are also not very user-friendly and frequently cause inconvenience. Overall, the experience feels outdated and frustrating compared to other banks. How is this app even allowed on IOS! ### 1/5 — Poor Support for Customers Living Abroad *2026-03-07, version 3.7.2* I am very disappointed with the BOI Mobile App. As a customer living outside India, the app requires an Indian mobile number to log in or access the account. If you do not have access to that number, you cannot log in at all. This is a major problem for customers who are living or working abroad. Many banks provide alternative verification methods like email, international numbers, or secure authentication, but this app only depends on the registered Indian mobile number. Because of this, I am completely unable to access my own bank account from outside the country. A banking app should support NRI customers and provide flexible login options.
