## What is BoilerPlus?

This app allows remote controlling of a programmable thermostat. It is possible displaying current device state: room temperature, set points, operating mode, season and daily timer.
Remote users can modify set points, operating mode, season and daily timer.
Only one user at once is allowed to program device: during remote programming performed by an user, other remote users have readonly permission. Local users have higher controlling priority than remote users.
To use this app, login to selected device is mandatory. At first usage new device has to be registered: device registration has to be performed once and for all.

Non capisco come nel 2021 possano esserci in giro ancora prodotti come questo. Elemento principale del mio disappunto è il fatto che, se non si è collegati al wi-fi a cui è collegato il termostato, si chiude non appena si cerca di avviarla e rende pertanto impossibile l’utilizzo da remoto (che è il motivo principale che spinge una persona ad installare un termostato wi-fi). Anche la parte di programmazione delle fasce orarie settimanali è decisamente “scomoda” in quanto alle 24 ore della giornata corrispondono 96 “barrette” che si devono impostare singolarmente…Associata ad un termostato Profitec (che di per se è gia un disastro) sono l’accoppiata perfetta per innervosire un utente. Aggiornamento dopo aver installato la versione 1.1 Non pensavo fosse possibile ma, dopo l’aggiornamento alla versione 1.1, l’app é addirittura peggiorata. Continuo ad avere gli stessi problemi di ripetuto crash ma adesso, nella regolazione del timer giornaliero, non viene piu visualizzato l’orario sotto le “barrette” per cui l’app risulta inutilizzabile….complimenti….
- aggiornamento alla versione 1.3 (oltre non sono andato, ho cambiato termostato ed App).
I crash erano risolti, l’app era stabile, rimaneva il problema della difficoltà di impostare temperature e fasce orarie (per via delle 96 mini-barrette in cui era suddivisa la giornata ). Mi sono però accorto che i dati impostati sull’app (le fasce orarie) non corrispondevano a quelli che poi vedevo sul termostato al che, frustrato, ho buttato via tutto ed ho comprato un altro prodotto.

Dopo aver effettuato la registrazione e l’associazione, effettuo accesso da APP e non avviene il collegamento…attesa interminabile ma non si visualizzano i comandi ed è impossibile visualizzare informazioni ed effettuare azioni a distanza

Ho iPhone Xs aggiornato. Tre termostati che dovrei controllare con questa APP:
1) funzione una volta, poi il collegamento non funziona più dalla seconda volta perché legge un orario e giorno del passato…
2) non funziona con due termostati in Wi-Fi…per il motivo sopra
3) non gestisce più di un termostato nello stesso impianto…a meno di effettuare login distinti e l’id non è impostabile, non c’è modo di sapere l’id a quale termostato afferisce, se non scrivendolo a parte in qualche taccuino.
4) non esiste il logut…bisogna chiudere l’applicazione con scorrimento con il dito…ma se ci si ricollega subito dopo va in errore (evidentemente perché la connessione resta appesa con il server), allora bisogna lasciare trascorrere del tempo
5) per cambiare la temperatura c’è un tachimetro con una micro freccetta difficile da regolare
Chi l’ha progettata forse non l’ha mai usata in un contesto reale.
È la prima volta che do 1 stella ad un APP, ma per questa è anche troppo
