## What is Boiling Point Timer?

At high altitude, your usual “3-minute” instant noodles may need a little more time.

Boiling Point Timer uses your device’s barometric pressure sensor to estimate the local boiling point and automatically adjust cooking times for instant noodles, dehydrated meals, pasta, and other outdoor food.

As altitude increases, atmospheric pressure decreases, causing water to boil below 100°C / 212°F. That means food may cook more slowly than it does at sea level.

Boiling Point Timer estimates the current boiling point from local air pressure and recommends an adjusted cooking time for your location.

Real-Time Boiling Point

Uses your device’s barometric pressure sensor to estimate and display the current boiling point.

Automatic Cooking Time Adjustment

Enter the normal cooking time and instantly get an adjusted timer based on the estimated boiling point.

Outdoor Food Presets

Quick presets for common hiking and camping meals:

Instant noodles: 3 / 4 / 5 minutes
Dehydrated rice and meals: 15 minutes
Pasta
Adjustable Correction Level

Fine-tune the recommendation based on cookware, outdoor temperature, or your preferred texture with Low, Normal, and High adjustment levels.

Works Offline

No internet connection or GPS required. Use it in the mountains, at campsites, or anywhere your device’s pressure sensor is available.
