The app did not use the official FIFA matrix for 3rd place teams. So, the knock out match ups are all wrong. Our brackets are all flawed. We picked group stage results correctly and Bola 2026 created the wrong match up scenarios.

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time, and sorry for the frustration. We want to clear this up because accuracy matters to us as much as it does to you: Bola 2026 uses FIFA's official Annex C matrix for third-place placements, and we re-verified the full table (all 495 combinations) against FIFA's published regulations. One key detail — third-place teams aren't assigned to Round-of-32 matches until the entire group stage finishes, so any third-place matchups shown before then are still placeholders, not final pairings. If something looked off in your bracket, please email us at maria@bola2026.app with your bracket code — we'll check it personally and make it right.

This basic app slows down a lot and it often doesn’t save your selected team. Battery use is quite high. Worst problem are all the weird adverts. I’ve never used an app with this many intrusive unskippable ads. It’s so bad that I wouldn’t use this app ever again. There are better alternatives out there.

Can’t click two buttons without another ad popping up. Terrible. Will use another site for my bracket challenge.

**Developer response:** Thanks Franz, and sorry the ads got in the way! Bola's a one-person, fan-made app and ads cover the server costs that keep it free. If you want zero ads, there's a one-time Remove Ads in Settings. Pay once, no subscription. Would love a second chance. ⚽

App is fine. Not surprised about the ads. What else is new with indie apps? 

That said, you have the scoring system on the desktop version and not in the app. Also, are there points for the third place match?

Happy this existed and if this could be used for other tournaments like champions league, then I’ll keep using it
