Why? Because the the vendor is always out of boxes. Or the dish I want can’t fit into the ‘large’ box that’s divided into 3 sections. Or the vendor refuses to use the app. Or the service is useless in the greater Portland area and is clearly not a priority for business expansion. The app is so-so, but the map feature is rather unusable. When I tap on the red circle with the number 5, I’m not looking for the precious knowledge that there’s “5 vendors in this area”. I want to see a list of those vendors pop up at the bottom, with the map still on top. I’m not going to zoom all the way in every single time until they finally reveal themselves. The idea is amazing (which is why I paid for it to begin with), so please do better! ### 5/5 — Continuously Improving, & Worth Supporting *2021-05-26, version 2.1.5* I’ve been a GoBox user for the past 3 years, and while my use has gone significantly down during the pandemic, I am soo excited to see that they’ve made it through! While the app isn’t perfect, its MUCH better than it was 3 years ago. It glitches so much less, and if it ever comes to it, logging out and back in has always fixed it for me. (Years ago I’d need to go back to a return box and scan it just to be able to show I have a box available.) The owners are also very responsive to my emails, and have always responded timely to my inquiries about the app, payment methods, etc. If you weren’t a subscriber before, nows the time because I finally see GoBox at so many more locations throughout Portland! I have 2 credits and am thinking of getting a third. Its nice to always have one available if I don’t return it on time, or I can get a soup box + a food box at the same time! ### 4/5 — iPhone SE login HACK 2021 *2021-05-26, version 2.1.5* Love this service and so glad they survived the pandemic and the inability to reuse ANYTHING! What a wasteful year. I’m ready to get this rolling again! So sick of clamshells! My app wasn’t working on my iphone SE (1st gen). The fonts were too big and crowded out my ability to login manually. I worked out a way! I manually entered my user and password in to my saved passwords on the iphone itself. Then when I brought up the app login screen I could just choose it from my list and it automatically filled. Big let down. I hope this is fixed soon. I have an iPhone 5c ### 2/5 — Love the idea - app not so much! *2018-06-15, version 2.0.1* I have had this app for about a year. I am 100% behind this app- but I have had a few problems with it. There are mainly two worth mentioning. The first being that it logs me out all the time which annoys the vendor and those behind me. My least favorite one is when I scan the drop off code & it shows to be returned - but when I go to get my next one it shows that I did not drop it off. Kinda defeats the purpose if I cannot use the app/ product properly. I hope this can remedied soon, otherwise I will have to cancel my subscription. ### 4/5 — Great but wish password saved *2017-04-27, version 1.3* Go Box is a great concept &a the app is fine -- if I can remember my login. Mine is a corporate acct with a weird version of my email that I can almost never remember, and therefore end up holding the line or giving up and just using disposable containers.
