It completely defeats the point of the tape measure which also has issues in a real construction setting. overall, the idea is great, but the execution is severely lacking since neither of the tape measure nor the app seem to work consistently or for very long **Developer response:** Hello, the firmware can be updated from the tool menu once you connect to it on the bluetooth page!
