Thanks for making the iPad app too. ### 5/5 — Amazing free app for Giant Bomb *2021-04-24, version 1.8.1* Downloaded the app originally so I could cast easily to my tv’s using Chromecast. Clean simple design is easy to navigate and it works flawlessly. It even remembers all your account information like where you left off in a video when you come back to watch more. The interface is on brand and simple to use, and finding your downloaded videos has never been easier. I only wish I had found it sooner. Is there a way that we could get a share prompt that is a link to the video file itself? The official Roku app for Giant Bomb is lacking a lot of features, including setting the video quality. The idea could work how the share prompt already works, but maybe holding down the download button could instead open a share prompt that iOS could take from there? There are existing cast-like apps for the Roku, which could take that direct link and run with it, making this an easy way to support the Roku. Latest update downloaded and now I can’t open the app. It goes transparent and immediately crashes. I hope to see a fix soon. Im still gonna give you five stars though! For some reason when i try to watch the live shows on ps4 or this app they are a stuttery mess (even when i had 100 mb downstream). In other places i can correct by choosing the low quality stream. This app lacks quality selection for the live shows. Other than that this app is aces. ### 4/5 — Once great app that no longer functions *2023-06-01, version 1.11* In the last year or so something on the back end must have changed, because none of the GB apps I used previously are functioning properly anymore. Many older videos are inaccessible and the newer ones freeze all the time or just show up as broken links. The app really likes to crash when switching to a new video while casting to a tv as well. I have used this app for years as a way to access premium videos, but alas, I find myself watching them on YouTube instead more often than not these days. I can’t blame the developer, as this has been a labor of love and they haven’t charged a cent for their work, and with all of the changes at GB over the last couple of years there were bound to be some issues. ### 4/5 — Great app - recent issues since they’ve changed the video player on the website? *2023-04-16, version 1.11* Really like the app. Top job with the design etc. Noticed in the last few months videos cut out after maybe 8 or 9 mins and I have to restart the app. An issue with the new video player? ### 4/5 — Great app, weird problem though *2022-10-08, version 1.11* So the app works great for the most part, but for some reason newer episodes of particularly Albummer seem to not want to load properly? It will either stutter constantly or time out, and will refuse to download and I can’t figure out why. However, one thing Video Buddy had that his app does not was showing the size of downloaded videos in the downloaded shows list. Would it be possible to add this in a future update? Only minor issues are when searching for a video, clicking on said video doesn’t load can only watch videos from home screen.
