### 3/5 — Select Blinds pairing issue

*2026-08-16, version v2.64.3*

I ordered motorized blinds from Select Blinds with remote I also purchased the bridge that allows WiFi remote operation of blinds This bridge device is powered by the Bond app The Bond pairing with my remote did not work requiring call to Bond customer service Rep said Bond not given opportunity to evaluate my particular remote Eventually manual pairing worked
I think there should be more communication between Select Blinds ( a huge retailer ) and Bond so customers use of their products is easier to install.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-16, version v2.64.3*

The app is simple to use and one does not need to navigate several different avenues to accomplish the task. It’s simple and easy.

### 4/5 — Light switch for awning

*2026-08-16, version v2.64.3*

I will the awning had settings to turn on the lights on awning also, so I didn’t need remote

### 5/5 — Love this outdoor ceiling fan

*2026-08-15, version v2.64.3*

We had this fan installed on our new deck in 2024. Love the way this fan looks and operates. It’s perfect. It’s been through 2 harsh winters and still looks like new. The mobile app is so nice to turn up or down the fan speed right from the table. So glad we found this fan.

### 5/5 — Easy to Use. Reliable

*2026-08-15, version v2.64.3*

Does what it is supposed to do. Simple. Logical. Reliable.

Very easy to use and so far it’s been reliable.

### 5/5 — Quiet

*2026-08-13, version v2.64.3*

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-08-13, version v2.64.3*

Excellent way to control Sophie blinds with HomeKit

### 5/5 — Very good app.

*2026-08-11, version v2.64.3*

The best feature is that it works when the internet is down. Many other apps ie HP printer app doesn’t work without internet connectivity. Every similar app should work like this app. Very happy with it!

### 5/5 — Intuitive

*2026-08-08, version v2.64.3*

Very easy to use

### 5/5 — Still working well

*2026-08-08, version v2.64.3*

Constantly updated and new partnerships have made my investment in the platform more valuable. Looking forward to seeing what is next

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cannot remove dead device

*2026-08-05, version v2.64.3*

There is no mechanism to remove a dead ceiling fan. I search through the app, then contacted customer support. They kept giving me instructions that were not supported on my app. On top of that, you have to go thru a chat panel, but the chat is embedded in the app. You have to leave the chat to perform the directive, then return to the chat, which is not always available. Telephone support does not seem to be available. My smart ceiling fan/light controller will no longer connect, so I am going to replace it with a SmartThings compatible controller and just uninstall the app completely. That means I’ll have to replace the controllers in both fans. All in all, I am not a happy camper

### 1/5 — Devolution in Progress

*2026-07-20, version v2.64.3*

I purchased the hub and began using the app more than 3 years ago. Every year that passes, the app works worse. Originally, the app would open, close and move my shades to my chosen “favorite” (intermediate) positions. About 18 months ago (without changing ANY settings or equipment), the app simply would not operate some shades AT ALL, or intermittently at best. About six months later, the favorite position commands began working as follows:
1. The shade would move about 6-8 inches, stop, move another 6-8 inches, and then move no more. This would leave the shade to some bizarre position.

I have contacted support multiple times and have received one of two responses:
1. We are working to correct the issue with no further contact, or
2. Factory reset the hub and all the shades. Delete and reinstall the app.
In other words, start all over.

In all the years I have been using such apps, I have never observed one that progressively less functional.

Bad Bond, bad.

### 1/5 — DISAPPOINTING APP!

*2026-07-06, version v2.64.2*

Can only program a schedule for one group of blinds. Customer service is AI, drove me nuts and did not solve my problem even though I provided it with all pictures and info requested! Very disappointed but Blindstogo does business with BonHome so I’m stuck with it!!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work, no support response

*2026-06-22, version v2.64.2*

I have two bond bridges that pair to WiFi, but will not pair to my account. Tried manually adding bridge to my bond account from the local IP address and still won’t add. Tried on two separate networks and phones. Contacted support with no reply.

### 1/5 — Complete accessibility failure. Unusable UI.

*2026-05-30, version v2.64.2*

The hardware might work, but the iOS app interface is an absolute disaster of lazy engineering. The developers have completely ignored basic WCAG contrast guidelines—rendering critical setup text and FCC IDs in a ghostly, light-gray font against a blinding white background.
Worse, the app completely ignores native iOS accessibility features. It refuses to respect Dynamic Type system font scaling, and if you try to use Smart Invert to fix the abysmal contrast, the app’s broken color tokens map incorrectly, turning the text charcoal gray against a pitch-black background. It actively fights the operating system's built-in usability tools.
Having to take screenshots, jump into the Photos app, and crank the exposure and contrast sliders just to read an FCC ID during setup is ridiculous. Hire a UI/UX designer who understands basic readability and iOS design standards. Fix this.

### 1/5 — App never works correctly.

*2026-03-23, version v2.63.0*

No matter how many times I reset the bond bridge pro and try to get it to connect the device will never connect then the app sais failed and I have to keep starting over. Horrible product. Company needs to do better with there software.

### 1/5 — Bond Le Hub

*2026-03-17, version v2.63.0*

Perd souvent sa connexion dans l’application et impossible d’ajouter un nouvel appareil. À mettre au poubelle

### 1/5 — Software is not mature enough for casual user home owners.

*2026-03-03, version v2.63.0*

I’ve been dealing with problems for months. CS tries to help but puts diagnosis steps on me. After repeated procedures I’ve finally had enough. If I could I’d pull all the smart switches from my 5 fans.

### 1/5 — Works intermittently and inconsistently

*2026-01-02, version v2.62.0*

Sometimes the roller blinds close as scheduled, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they open as they should, sometimes they don’t. And sometimes controlling the blinds through the app…

Irritatingly, it often takes a couple of attempts to open or close the blinds, and one has to be within a few feet of the Bond Bridge

This is undoubtedly the worst smart device I have ever owned, and I do not recommend it.

### 1/5 — USELESS

*2025-11-29, version v2.61.0*

I spent almost 8 hours texting with support and I am no further ahead than when I started. The app doesn’t control Select Blinds with any consistency. Most times it done work at all and sometimes the shades may go up but not go day. Stop appears to be a function that just doesn’t work.
I was told to move the bridge so I did. I have a small home, 1600 sq feet. I now have in the center of the house and the. Two furtherest shades don’t work at all.
Alexa and the SmartThings app it a joke. Up and down only. Will be returning it and my blinds for a full refund.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very practical!

*2026-09-03, version v2.65.0*

This app is very easy to use and really simplifies life!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-09-02, version v2.65.0*

Easy to set up and start using!!!

### 5/5 — great app

*2026-09-02, version v2.65.0*

Great app with technology that works.

### 5/5 — Total control of my patio

*2026-09-01, version v2.65.0*

I have three controllable patio screens. These protect my wooden patio furniture from sun and rain. I can remotely open- close them to meet my needs. They work flawlessly.

### 5/5 — 80” hinkley swell

*2026-08-31, version v2.65.0*

Love that the fan doesn’t need to be on high to throw a lot of air. And with the app, it’s on a whole different level.

### 5/5 — Love my screens & this app!

*2026-08-29, version v2.65.0*

This app works great with my new roll down screens - I especially love the option to group them since I have 4. And the scheduling feature is nice too!

### 5/5 — Great Fan

*2026-08-29, version v2.65.0*

Nothing better than being away and being able to adjust the speed of the fan. Turn it on and off. Adjust the light, the fan speed.
Great buy and investment!!!!

### 5/5 — Easy Breezy

*2026-08-29, version v2.65.0*

This has got to be my most favorite house app. I use it several times a day to turn the fan light on and off. I never use the wall switch anymore. I use the app to turn the light on in the room at night before I go into it. I can adjust the fan at night while I’m in bed. Sometimes I want more air sometimes I want less.

### 5/5 — Peace of mind

*2026-08-28, version v2.64.3*

Peace of mind being away I have control if there is any storms

### 5/5 — Great Smart Solution for my Patio Screens

*2026-08-27, version v2.64.3*

I have the Somfy remote (Telis 4 Soliris RTS Patio) for my patio screens but it is not Smart. I stumbled upon this Bond bridge under someone’s review when searching for a Smart Solution. This works great and was so easy to pair to my remote. It also works when not connected to my home network. The only thing I wish it had was a visual of my screen state (opened or closed or partially opened) but I understand that is not a limitation of this Bond bridge itself.
