The pins include a lot and it's awesome that I can add my own pins to include the rest of the information that I have to know. It would be great to show a view with the inside of the cavella, however. Also, the drawing tool could definitely run more smoothly. However, I can never get anything done because it constantly crashes whenever I'm trying to save pins. It's extremely frustrating having to re type points over and over again, in hopes that this will be the magical time that it actually saves. The Skull rotates very smoothly and without stutter. There are various views such as color coding and cross-sections to help you view the Skull in different ways. I wish the app had educational information built in rather than just the Skull, such as narrated audio information, tips, interesting facts, and so on. The virtual skull can be smoothly rotated in any plane by simply dragging it in the direction required. Rather spooky the way one can see inside the skull through its various openings. The skull can be sectioned vertically and horizontally . I liked the way the labeled pins rotate with the skull and correctly vanishing when behind it. Only major gripe is that there seemed to be no way of saving an image of the skull as a separate image. Excellent overall ### 4/5 — Great for med students but cannot save custom pins and lines *2013-08-13, version 2.0.0* This app is great for studying the rather complicated anatomy of the skull. I love that you can zoom in and out and rotate the image in 3D. However, there are some structures that I need to know that are not included with the app, and every time I try to save new pins, the app crashes. Really detailed graphics, smooth movement, just turn and move the skull with your finger as if you were holding it in your hand.
