But I suppose that’s a personal issue. Bonjoro itself couldn’t be easier to navigate. I have it set up to alert me whenever someone joins our email list so I can get right in and send them a welcome message. I think it’s a nice way to personalize the customer relationships, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to do the same. ### 5/5 — This app has been an absolute game changer for my biz *2021-09-29* I have a very client services centered business and I used to spend lots of precious time writing emails to clients that I think were just okay. I opened a new program where I would contact clients every day for learning and motivation and I round Bonjoro as I was setting up the program - I thought it would be a nice addition to the program - instead it has become the STAR element of the program - my clients LOVE getting personal emails from me every day and replying to me with their own videos and making them takes about a quarter of the time it would take to write even short emails by hand. If you want to give your clients and potential customers VIP service (and stand out from the crowd) I highly suggest this secret weapon. I love this product and their customer service is awesome! (I was having a bit of a learning curve but now have it all set up thanks to Grant) Thanks for making this amazing app - keep adding those bells and whistles! ### 5/5 — Game Changer for Startup Engagement *2021-07-29* As the co-founder of a growing startup, I can echo what others have written, the shock a new user gets when they receive a video message from the CEO Co-Founder is amazing! People crave personal interaction and want to know the companies they do business with are real. I’d go so far to say they like to know the company has a soul! Any startup co-founder will attest….we love our customers! Bonjoro allows us to reach our customers in a much more profound way….even better than a pre-recorded message they hear the company say their name! We get the most incredible responses back thanking us for the personalized video. As a small company, it’s one of the many things you can do to put yourself over the competition.I would highly recommend using it for any small company. As far as the actual functionality of the app, it works great. I was previously using it on a Google pixel to and there was definitely some lag time. I’m now using an iPhone 12 and it’s an incredible difference. And who doesn’t love a personalised video! 😍💯 ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Crashes when trying to record *2023-12-14* Ever since I got the new iPhone 15 the app crashes as soon as you tap record. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Double checked that the app has the camera access it needs, but it doesn’t work. The core feature of the app is broken and I’ve written the company about it. No response or fix. Last update to the app was 8 months ago, which doesn’t instill confidence that the company is trying to keep things current. I love the concept of the service, but can’t believe they charge a monthly fee and don’t keep the basics working. ### 1/5 — Barely out of beta *2017-08-01, version 1.1.8* Requires logging in on a desktop to use the majority of features. I did ask about when a more mobile friendly version would be available and was told they are working on it but no timeline. Unless you are ready to be a power user right out of the gate, prepare yourself for a LOT of emails to get you to engage, *engage*, ENGAGE. The unsubscribe button is only visible on, you guessed it, desktop. Frankly, it's a mobile app that gets your email address so they can bug you until you use it regularly. Save yourself the hassle, record a short video with your phone and imbed it in an email to your clients. Same thing and no one will nag you about how you haven't logged in yet or send you videos of them out casually walking their dog. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work optimally *2019-10-05, version 3.1.16* I find the site works pretty well, but for some reason the app is ridiculously broken in many areas. Also, there are many features that would skyrocket this app but it doesn’t seem like they’re willing to invest in them.
