I rarely write reviews for apps, but for Bonjour RATP I feel like I must. This app was a life saver during our trip in Paris. For someone that has never used a subway system before, this app made navigating through the city’s subway system seem so effortlessly. I just had to type where I was and where I wanted to go, and the app did the rest. 

This app is a must!

How does this app have such a high rating? Terrible to use, if I bought 3 cards for myself and family members, I would have to enter my credit card 3 times. But that’s not all…when validating each card on the bus or metro, I’d have to close one and then use Apple face activation and then double click and then reactivate the next. Insanely long process. There are other apps I saw people using in Paris which seem to work better. Or the metro card. Or how about get it together France and accept credit card payments like every other city in 2026.

Haben den Wochenpass für ca. 32€ genutzt, (alles sehr gut geklappt) 2 Fahrten von ca. 50 Fahrten hatten wir Frischluft in den Waggons, UNZUMUTBAR!!!!!!Ich möchte das hier klarstellen: wir Menschen benötigen Frischluft und nicht nur etwas Frischluft durch kleine Oberfenster während der Fahrt,  bitte alle VORSTANDSMITGLIEDER der Metro-Paris im Sommer zu 50 Fahrten ZWINGEN um diese unmenschliche Erfahrung zu machen!!!!!! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wie gesagt: Im Sommer? Nie wieder!!!!!

I bought tickets from them to use while in France and the tickets never worked and I also did not get my euros back.

Traveling Paris from the states, this app made all the difference. We were traveling with 2 adults and 2 children, all of the fares for airport RER / standard RER and bus can be loaded up ahead of time. Keep in mind - each traveler will need their own ”pass” and they can’t be loaded all onto one pass. You can create a new pass on the app and easily apply normal and reduced fares for the kids on their own pass. Tip - setup Apple Pay before doin this and it’s seamless. Without it, you need to enter your credit card for every single transaction as I found out.

Sehr leicht intuitiv bedienbar, Routen werden erstellt, Fahrpläne sind einsehbar und die Stationen in der Nähe angezeigt. Das Sprachangebot macht es auch für Touristen nutzbar. Großartige App!

I almost didn’t download because of the reviews but the app works perfectly.  Easy to purchase tickets and load to Wallet.   No need to set up an account.  The directions feature is really helpful - especially where to enter/exit metro stations.
