## What is Bontrax?

Bontrax of Sweden.
Our roots are  in Northern Scandinavia and we honor they who came before us and were pioneers to find their way  in the backcountry .
 
Our Hiking APP will guide you both on track and off-track to ensure you reach your destination or guide you back to your starting point if you just are out hiking with your dogs in the woods.

   - Use Bontrax Hiking App when your mobile is in offline Mode by using our Offline Maps. As a subscriber, you will get access to download all of Our Swedish Offline Maps, it costs €9,9 per year. You can easily find information on "Setting" page.
   - Your downloaded maps, Routes and Places will work even if your smartphone is out of service.
   - Continue to add routes and places while out of service and your smartphone will sync as soon as your smartphone is online again automatically.
   - You can get your location and download all maps necessary for a safe visit in nature.
   - Plan your Track or import other tracks and check your progress on the map using Bontrax guiding to your target.
   - Check your distance, speed and arrival time based on your current progress if following a route.
   - Check live weather and look where the nearest maintain cabin or camping spot is.
   - If you don´t have a planned route you can set a Starting Point and let the Bontrax app guide you back at the end of the day by using the latest Augmented Reality(AR) techniques.

Features:

Offline maps of Sweden(Other Regions will be released later). 
Unlimited use of both(for Subscriber):
   - Terrain map (1:50 000).
   - Mountain map (1:100 000).

Tracks:
   - Create your own tracks using our new APP.
   - Import tracks from others or share with family and friends.
   - Follow your tracks and be guided by the built-in assistant.
   - Or just start Live tracking! Create and record a track while just out walking.
   - Check your progress and speed to get your estimated arrival time or just check the distance you've hiked since starting.

Augmented Reality mode.
   - Find your mountain hut or Cabin using AR-Camera mode to get a direction and distance to your end point.
   - Find your personal Place you added using AR-mode. Perhaps a favorited camping or chanterelle spot.

Security functions:
   - Set your starting point if you don´t have a planned route or don´t want to track your hike.
   - Use SMS to share your location with others if you get into trouble.
   - Set an alarm to notify you if you are hiking off the track.

Weather live:
   - You can see the current weather live and direct from selected weather stations of the area you are interested in exploring.
   - Note: Live weather and offline maps are only valid in Sweden at the moment.

About the subscriptions:
   - Get access to download all of our Offline Maps (Terrain and Mountain maps).
   - It costs €4,99 per year.
   - Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
   - Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
   - Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
   - Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
   - Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
