## What is Boo Alarm?

Hi. I'm Boo. Boo Alarm is a mission-based alarm clock that doesn't stop ringing until you complete a physical challenge. Push-ups, making your bed, photographing the sky. Mission done, alarm stops.

You know the routine. Alarm fires, you tap snooze, and forty-five minutes later the day feels lost before it started.

I'm a small ghost with one job: get you up. No snooze. You complete a mission instead. By the time your brain starts negotiating, your body is already moving.

And I know your other tricks too.

COMMITMENT LOCK: Thinking about deleting me mid-alarm to make it stop? I know. I've seen it. With Commitment Lock, you can't delete Boo until the mission is done. Finish the mission and the lock lifts on its own.

DISTRACTION BLOCK: Waking up, then scrolling yourself straight back to sleep? Blocked. The moment your mission is done, the apps you chose get shielded for the time you set — 45 minutes by default. Get your morning going first. Then your phone comes back.

YOUR MISSIONS:

• Push-ups
• Squats
• Photograph the sky
• Make your bed
• Find a random object (I pick it)
• Photograph some grass
• Photograph your pet

Stack up to four. I take you through them one by one.

WHAT YOU GET:

• No snooze. Not an option.
• Commitment Lock. Your alarm can't be sabotaged the night before.
• Distraction Block. Your apps stay locked until your missions are done.
• Streak tracking. You will want to protect yours.
• Wake-up check 15 minutes after you finish. Because some of you go straight back to bed. I've seen it.
• Response time stats, wake consistency, full history. Your morning habits in plain numbers.
• 40+ alarm tones across 5 categories.
• Multiple alarms.
• Light, dark, and automatic theme.

Your photos stay on your device. No uploads, no servers. My creator built it that way.

Most alarm apps ask you to be stronger. I just close every exit. Snooze? Gone. Turning the alarm off at midnight? Locked. Scrolling back to sleep? Blocked.

You've tried willpower. Try a small determined ghost instead.

### 5/5 — Actually works!

*2026-07-06*

I went with the squat option, and wow… it definitely did the trick. I only had to do 10 squats, but it was enough to get my blood flowing and completely wake me up. There was no chance I was going back to sleep after that. It even sent me a follow-up notification a few minutes later to make sure I was still awake. I’m glad I was, because I wasn’t about to do more squats! 😂

What I really like is that you’re not stuck with just one method. The app gives you multiple options to choose from, so you can find what works best for you. If you struggle with hitting snooze or getting out of bed in the morning, I’d definitely recommend giving this app a try. It’s simple, effective, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

**Developer response:** Thank you for such a thorough review! The follow-up check (we call it the Wake Up Check) is there because we know the real enemy isn't the alarm — it's the crawl back to bed five minutes later. Glad the squat mission found you. And yes, staying awake to avoid more squats is a completely valid motivation. We'll take it. ⭐

### 5/5 — Waking up has never been better

*2026-07-02*

It’s everything I was looking for. Mornings are rough for me and this rewired my brain.

**Developer response:** Thank you. "Rewired my brain" is exactly the outcome we're after — not just a louder alarm, but a different relationship with mornings. Rough mornings are why Boo exists. Glad you found Boo!

### 5/5 — Annoying

*2026-07-02*

This thing is so annoying I actually got up.

**Developer response:** Correct. Boo is not here to be liked in the morning. Boo is here to make sure the morning happens. Mission accomplished. 🔔

### 5/5 — This actually works!

*2026-07-02*

Such a cute design. Very well developed app. And most importantly IT WORKS!

**Developer response:** Thank you! "It works" is the highest praise an alarm app can get - everything else is decoration. Glad the design makes the wake-up sting a little less.

### 5/5 — Finally fixed my snooze problem

*2026-06-26*

Boo Alarm is the first alarm app that’s actually helped me stop snoozing. The missions force you to physically get out of bed, and by the time you finish them, you’re already awake. I love the creative challenges like photographing the sky or making the bed.

I used to waste a lot of time before my morning workouts, Now I set the alarm mission to 50 pushups and 50 squats, by the time I turn the alarm off, I have already done half my morning workout. Love BOOOOOOOOO

**Developer response:** Thank you for this review - it genuinely made our day. Turning your alarm into the first half of your workout is exactly the kind of thing we built missions for, and honestly, 50 pushups + 50 squats is more discipline than we expected anyone to volunteer for. Boo salutes you (from a safe, judgment-free distance). If you ever have mission ideas you'd like to see, we're all ears.
