Hopefully developers will not sleep on good of it and will create it to infinity as its good one ### 4/5 — 4 out of 5 due to energy system *2022-02-06, version 1.637* Good TD game. As others have said here, there is thought in the game, it’s a bit more challenging than others (in a good way). I enjoy trying to collect all the cards and characters and upgrades. The maps are fun. But the energy system is way too strict. I can only play about 3 or 4 attempts and then I’m out of energy. Crystals (iap) restore every but it’s way too stingy. Given the cost of crystals this is a much more stingy energy/stamina system than I’ve seen in a lot of similar games. You need energy to play a level. You can’t retry a level without spending additional energy. And all the extra modes like survival mode on each map also takes full energy. And the energy caps out sort of low, so if you don’t keep logging in you lose it. So there’s no way I can see being able to play more than like 15 minutes at a time. Because of my work schedule that doesn’t work for me (I sit down to play a game in one sitting each day, not throughout the day waiting for energy to restore. So for me, it means there’s only about 15 minutes of play time available to me PER DAY. So even though I like the game, I’ll likely delete it soon 😢 ### 3/5 — Great game bad bugs *2022-01-24, version 1.637* Love the game. Lockups when clicking on the play advertisement button often caused it to drop my reward, or cancel major progress such as a difficult upgrade. I can’t even get the ring that’s supposed to be of major importance because the map thinks I completed that level, but it never gave me the ring when I did. Extremely similar to Kingdom Rush conceptually - I’d be hard pushed to pick a favourite, they’re both great. I’m no fan of freemium models, prefer pay once games, but as far as freemium goes - this is a not too frustrating an example. No pay wall. I completed the levels paying only for a hero I fancied giving a go whilst already having three heroes before hand. A few bugs, can’t equip some items I have in my inventory for inexplicable reasons. I got the 25 dollar one and I started upgrading but what I notice was when I upgrade all my stuff was it took over 6000 gems but nothing upgraded! At that point I invested around $30 into the game and as soon as it started glitching up I have tried to get in touch with them multiple times and haven’t gotten any response. It’s going on a week now. Play the game but DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY! ### 1/5 — Money Grab *2020-02-05, version 1.07* Games seems normal until Capital Crossroads. Goes from like 2 lanes to 4 with only 2 towers per lane. Got rolled hard using my “spells” as much as possible with ads to recharge and i still died fast. I shouldnt need cards and heroes before you give me a chance to buy them without money, not just a small amount either more like $10 or more per hero........ If they fix it i will change my review but until then you get one star ### 2/5 — Difficult in a bad sense *2026-05-03, version 7.48* The curve to tough, require you to grind. Then the items from chests don’t come to my item list. What the hell. ### 2/5 — Lacks important information *2020-11-21, version 1.618* The first few levels are enjoyable enough and the dialogue makes it quirky, but once you get further in it becomes very apparent that certain details are left unknown. What enemies are weak against, the visual range of ranged defenders, are the defenders I have enough, etc. This would be fine if replaying levels was free, but it requires to either wait for enough points to replay or to burn through your gems then buy/wait for new ones. It basically punishes you for not knowing mechanics that it doesn’t want to show or explain. ### 2/5 — Incursion is better *2020-10-13, version 1.601* It’s an ok game. The card system is unique and the gameplay itself is kind of humorous. I also the like how they did spells and calling in a last line of defense. The issues comes from the difficulty. The first few levels are ok, but it gets impossible at a certain point unless you pay or watch ads. You can beat the game for free but you’ll need to watch a ton of ads. Incursion was a better game imo. I also dislike that they used the same voices from Incursion. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — One of the best *2023-09-06, version 1.699* Truly one of the best. This is definitely one of them. It might not seem that way for the first I dunno... six or seven levels? But push through and you’ll discover “wow, the developer clearly put a lot of time and work into this game.” Anyways if anyone knows of other good TD gems, post them in reviews. I also really liked Jelly Defense, Mindustry, Gem Defense, of course kingdom rush (tho the last few releases have been getting stale) and Castle Creeps off the top of my head. Oh and Infinitode 2 is at least worth a play. Booblyc TD belongs on these kinds of lists. Incursion (booblycs other game) is also worth playing but isn’t as good as Booblyc. What kind of name is that anyway? Update/Side Note: hey Handsome Developer guy is it actually possible to beat the third challenge grade of the last early game map? It’s the map in the main story level where the guy with the big face and hands is the boss and after is the portal that takes uou to Minotaur island—beating the main story is totally doable as well as the second challenge grade on it... but the third challenge grade where you can’t use any heroes and your limited to just Shaman, Priest, Ninja, and Knights for 14 waves and 1hp... I’m starting to get the impression it actually isn’t possible. Any hints? ### 5/5 — Noice👍🏾 *2021-12-02, version 1.637* So far so Gooood!!!! ### 5/5 — Challenge is good *2021-11-30, version 1.637* This is a tower defense game very much like Kingdom Rush with gacha elements and a different (but enjoyable) sense of humor. The difficulty that some other reviewers complain about is just a reaction to the lousy “meta” for mobile games in general. You know what I mean: the pushover first couple days with tons of gifted energy to keep you busy clicking on stuff that isn’t gameplay. This game is better than that. You actually have to move your units around and make decisions that effect your win conditions. The only paywall is for those who want to treat it like an idle title where your units are so overpowered the game plays itself. The energy system runs out pretty quickly, but that feels ok, too. Playing games is fun, but taking regular breaks is a good thing, too. Thank you studio and developers for making a highly enjoyable game. It feels a little sad that I’m singing the praises of a game just because there is actual gameplay.
