Every time I logged in, they were there, waiting for me to keep working on them. Today, I logged in and all my work was completely gone. This was my last straw. I’ve been struggling with the fact that the AI never seems to reach much further than the writing prompts I give it, as well as the fact that I’m constantly having to make it rewrite my chapters because it’s just not intuitive enough to write sentences that sound like a human wrote them, and doesn’t catch its own inconsistencies in the story. It’s added more work, rather than help make the writing process easier. **Developer response:** We’re sorry for the scare and frustration. Please try again”. better luck with the next one ### 1/5 — AI $ucks *2026-03-04* If you’re using AI to write, I hate to break it to you but you don’t really want to write. And if you’re a reader and you’re going to an AI app instead of an actual human artist then… what are you doing? As an avid reader, sometimes multiple books in a week, I can promise you that you can find what you are looking for. There are FREE library apps where you can access almost any book and a ton of amateur writing websites, like wattpad, to find pretty much anything to read and get real readers’ feed back on your writing if you want. This app does basics I guess but you definitely have to do a Bunch of edits to make it work. If you want to write, then you should! My writing teacher always used to say, “you can’t get good unless you let yourself be bad.” You obviously have ideas that you want to bring to life if you’re here so give it a real shot! This is what makes us human, don’t let them take it from us. ### 1/5 — MMM… really a kid’s toy *2026-02-19, version 3.6.4* This isn’t a product for serious authors. It is very basic. Suitable for kids - maybe. But more? No. ### 3/5 — Lazy AI *2026-02-17, version 3.6.4* It's a neat concept but there are other apps that do this better. The first time I tried it, I selected a number of character traits and plot elements. It literally put them into the story word for word. For example I chose "quirky" as one of the communication styles for my main character. My character said something; another character responded "What a quirky suggestion!" Most of the story was like that; plenty of other examples. ### 3/5 — Okay *2026-02-11, version 3.6.4* I would say it’s great but I’m not gonna have a seven day free trial and than have to pay if the app is free it should stay free but I do appreciate being able to write poetry or a book or a script so you have a different option loved it but not everything has to cost money. There could be like premium where you get like extra perks. But it’s not fair when you get a free app and it ends up costing money. No hate at all though. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2026-02-08* Overall, I like this, but there’s some things they have to fix. I noticed I picked the genres and those genres appear in the story “adult themed magical realism.”it’s not supposed to say those words of genres and I up end up having to re-edit that entire sentence for some reason it keeps saying “goofy “a lot in the sentences. The character supposed to express goofiness The word should never appeared in the sentence .I picked the goofy tone for a side character, but there’s no reason for the word goofy to appear overall it’s great but picking genres, and then appearing in the chapter is weird and it makes more work. I wouldn’t pay for the year unless this was improved. ### 4/5 — Ok app *2026-01-29, version 3.6.3* The app tries to change you story or add extra stuff that isn’t wanted. I paid for all features and I want to know why it doesn’t let me use them? ### 2/5 — More ways for credits *2026-01-15, version 3.6.2* I love the app and I also understand that it needs to make money somehow however some people might not be in the right financial place or they just don’t want to spend money for credits. For something that charges based on chapters generated, that's unacceptable. Maybe it gets better when someone pays for the chapters rather than uses the free trial, but first impressions matter, and my impression was that even the free tiers of grok, chatgpt, and claude are orders of magnitude better than this. :( ### 1/5 — So disappointed *2026-05-25, version 3.7.2* I had this game for so long. That’s about just $2,600! Wow y’all are cheap. Xd Guys looking for a comic app? Get toongether, it’s easy, lots of tutorials, and you can enter specific details for the ai. Tell me why the hell I have to Goddamn pay when we have a whole other app with about 42% more stuff than this and for free? Damn guys. While the app was enjoyable, being charged every two weeks for purchases I did not make on the app were not so enjoyable. Even after I deleted the app I was still being charged. Every two weeks. Totaling around $150 in charges for an app not worth 2cents .
