## What is Book Cricket?

Relive the 90s classroom nostalgia of Book Cricket, beloved in India and beyond. Open a book at random and let the page decide the ball.

On iPhone Duo, close the phone and open it to play a move. On supported traditional iPhones, tap the book control to recreate that ritual.

• Play solo against the computer
• Pass one phone between two players
• Invite a nearby player for direct phone-to-phone play
• Choose who bats first
• Score from either page or choose conventional left-page-only play
• Follow runs, wickets, overs and the chase on a paper-style scorecard
• Watch a cricket replay after every page turn
• Learn from 1,000 Cricket Facts by S Ballani, selected by default
• Browse 100 Space Facts, classic fiction and Faraday’s historical science lectures offline
• Search facts by player or topic and open their references
• Play offline with no account, ads, in-app purchases or hosted match server

The selected page’s final digit calls the ball: zero is out; 1–9 score their face value. Prefer your old school rules? Choose Left page only for even-page outcomes.

Six bundled books. Five overs. A whole match before the bell.
