### 4/5 — Blizzard, Take Note

*2024-07-18, version 1.11.2*

In the beginning there was Diablo. When ipads came out people asked Blizzard “Hey, how about a port of Diablo for ipad?” Blizzard, knowing better than we do for sure, gave us Diablo Immortal, which is great and all but it isn’t the classic. This is more Diablo than Blizzard could have given. This game is a complete blast. If you like Diablo, you will definitely like this. I hope they come out with more.

That being said, it’s not perfect. Things like:

-upgrades for the cards that you pick up, at least at first, are never the ones that you have in your deck using. You could end up wasting a lot of money identifying them and then just realizing that you’ve never use them.
-I would love to see more mini quests. There are a couple, but it would be fun if there were a few more.
-some of the cards are kind of redundant. For example, for a cold element, there is a card that releases passively, there’s one that releases as a aura, there’s one that does bolts, and then there’s one that makes a wall. You really don’t end up using a lot of these cards, you find the one that’s best for you and roll with it.
-I have never played an RPG where magic that you cast that creates fire or ice affects you. It does here.

It’s still an awesome game. I would love to see more from the developers, I hope they can fill up those pedestals. I would recommend that if you start this, you spend all your money on getting the card slots unlocked. You don’t have to have the gypsy charge your cards, there’s more than enough power ups in the dungeon. spend a little money here and there upgrading cards but really focus on filling the cards slots.

### 4/5 — Please add in virtual gamepad control

*2021-10-26, version 1.11.2*

It's a great game. Much clearer and more beautiful than the switch version. The only problem is control. Its "optimized" control constantly require two finger gestures, and tapping on a specific demon, which makes it hard to play when iPad is hand held on the road, like on a bus. Please add in a virtual gamepad support. Thank you.

### 4/5 — A good. Dungeons game

*2021-08-18, version 1.11.2*

This is a good little game, good fun and passes the time well.

Diablo it is not (as Thats what got me into the purchase!) the similarity’s stop with dungeons, monsters, manor and health.. There is no customisation other than the cards you can use and no roaming the vast lands hunting for treasure.

It is in it’s self a fun little platform game very limited as you are lead where to go and you follow a strict path. That said it is challenging at times and a fun game to play. it’s passed the time nicely for me but does get a little repetitive (I’m half way through atm)

### 5/5 — Great ARPG

*2020-05-24, version 1.9.1*

I am almost half way through this with my 1st character. I hope that you make all the new content that is implied with all those podiums. I will gladly pay for each.

### 5/5 — Great mobile ARPG

*2020-05-22, version 1.9.1*

I’ll bet this ends up being considered better than Diablo: Immortal by many fans of the genre. In a lot of ways the developers understand what makes a hack and slash game fun. There’s no pay to win aspect, and the core gameplay design is well thought out. You can pick it up and play on your time. If you are waiting for a Diablo: Immortal competitor look no further, and you just might find that this game ends up being better.

### 5/5 — OMG it is very good!

*2020-05-13, version 1.9.1*

Great game to play on iPad. Sessions are short when you need them to be short. Three different heroes add to the game variety.
It takes getting used to clicking the screen with your finger. When you miss it can be quite annoying.
Would be nice to have a dedicated button to smash instead of a monster.
I wish there is a controller support like on switch version.
Also not sure if the full power of iPad Pro is being leveraged. Would be nice to see a bit more sharp image.

Overall it goes to collection of great iPad games.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2020-04-19, version 1.9.1*

This is an innovative, interesting, and just damn fun game. The difficulty is very scaleable, and the game -by design- is good for 6 minute quickies, or a massive 2 hour dungeon crawl. No micro transactions, seamless porting from the PC version, and flawless FPS on my iPad. This is a benchmark for how tablet games should be released. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Papercraft

*2020-04-19, version 1.9.1*

If you like diablo, victor vran etc this sis a fantastic game. Its worth the asking price and has been on sale a couple of time so worth watching if uncertain .

It just so good. I rarely replay a game but will be trying out all characters for this game. Standard playthorugh is at least 12 hours. Longer with the little extra’s

### 5/5 — Great Diablo homage

*2020-04-16, version 1.9.1*

I’m loving it so far. I’m using a stylus and it almost feels as good as playing an ARPG with a mouse. The Diablo references are awesome. I love the comedy twist on the butcher and all the other Diablo characters. Cool game.

### 4/5 — Worth the Money

*2020-04-02, version 1.9.1*

I enjoyed this hack and slash game. The tutorials were helpful, game play was easy to master, and there is a lot of flexibility in developing your cards, which gives your character the powers. I played the warrior and just kept adding to my mana as my character increased levels; there are enough heart bonuses throughout the game, and you really need the blue energy for equipping your cards. Once I beat the Arch-Demon, the free play was fun as well. Nice to have varying levels of difficulty. The higher difficulty levels randomly gave you cards from your deck at each dungeon entrance...you can’t change these until you finish that particular dungeon. Finally, bosses can disable cards...but there are ability cards which prevent the boss from disabling a card (sometimes to the right, left, or both sides).

### 4/5 — Archer need a standard arrow button

*2020-03-04, version 1.9*

Archer needs a standard arrow button, so if i want to stand my ground and shoot some vases i do not need to waste my magic arrows

### 5/5 — A lot of hours gameplay

*2020-03-02, version 1.9*

Great game and always nice to see no IAP. Well done devs 👍

### 5/5 — Awesome game

*2020-02-23, version 1.8*

The same game is on steam but I wanted to save a few bucks and purchased here instead. If you like rpg dungeon dives, then this is the game you are looking for.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Spam until you review

*2023-08-26, version 1.11.2*

Great game but spams you before every level to write a review which is pretty annoying for a paid game.

### 1/5 — Controls are awful

*2021-01-04, version 1.11.2*

Want to stand away and shoot at the enemy? Nope, you will constantly run at where you are clicking to fire. I really liked the rest of the game. The leveling and cards are cool. Controls stink.

### 2/5 — Tiny text

*2024-05-16, version 1.11.2*

The game seems like it could be good, but the text is too small to read, with no font size options. I am unable to play it as a result

### 2/5 — An interesting homage, but style over substance

*2020-05-21, version 1.9.1*

Gameplay is rather uninspiring on rails linear design, the loot system isn’t exciting and overall I’m feeling zero addiction like I did for Diablo which this so feverishly attempts to evoke.

The reviews all seem rather one sided so I figured my opinion might balance things a little. Don’t expect much depth here, mechanically speaking. Also, why rip off Diablo so thoroughly as a setting? A bit much for my taste.

Hopefully Diablo 1 is actually ported one day that’d be swell.

### 2/5 — Uninteresting

*2020-02-22, version 1.8*

So I've played it for a while now, and I honestly don't understand where the fun is supposed to be. You bounce around, tap monsters and kill them, and, that's it? It's very repetitive.

You pick up a bunch of cards, which I thought would be interesting, but then you can't actually use the cards because you can only hold a few cards at a time. This is the part I don't understand. You can pay coins to open up more slots, but it's so grindy.

Not my type of game, I guess.

### 2/5 — Boring

*2020-02-18, version 1.8*

Lots of rules, cards that I can’t figure out how to use, and very repetitive. Waaaaaay too much dialogue, waaaaay too many instructions, and I was bored after 10 minutes of play. Total waist of $5 - that’s probably why they don’t let you try it before you buy it because you wouldn’t buy it once you try it.

### 2/5 — Not as good as PC version

*2020-02-16, version 1.8*

Very awkward controls make game basically unplayable.

### 3/5 — Needs mouse and keyboard support!

*2023-09-27, version 1.11.2*

Great game, but with iPads being used with keyboards and mice now, it needs to add these as input options. Using your fingers covers item pop ups, makes it hard to cast spells, and just not as good of an experience as on devices with keyboard and mouse input options. Until this is added, this game is not recommended to buy on iPad. Buy it on another platform instead.

### 3/5 — Very enjoyable, a bug is getting in the way

*2022-07-31, version 1.11.2*

This is the kind of game I was looking for, and I love it. However I can’t ever press the hero icon on the bottom right so I can’t level up the character and it’s frustrating me and I can’t progress. More than happy to change rating when it is fixed.

### 3/5 — Annoying bug

*2021-08-19, version 1.11.2*

The stats button on the lower left is very difficult to tap. You had better increase the tap area of it.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — So much fun

*2025-04-25, version 1.11.2*

Played the best games put there, this is a must own.

### 5/5 — Blizzard, Take Note

### 5/5 — Enjoyable, thank you!

*2023-10-22, version 1.11.2*

Big fan of a dungeon crawler, and this one is different enough to be good fun. . Lots of play options, good to spend a bit of free time!

### 5/5 — iPad mini 6th

*2022-06-23, version 1.11.2*

Great game, love the game style hack and slash.

Just one thing to add is that the game doesn’t fit the resolution of my iPad mini 6th. Apart from that all good here.

### 5/5 — Like on PC

*2021-11-19, version 1.11.2*

I played this game on steam. I was very happy when I found it on iPad. Works smooth and controls are easy to catch up. Great port fully recommended

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2021-07-31, version 1.11.2*

These are the true rare gems of the iOS store. Buy this now and support incredible developers with integrity!

### 5/5 — A+

*2021-02-14, version 1.11.2*

Amazing game! I’m playing it after getting up in the middle of the night. Incredibly creative. Brilliant graphics, brilliant sound, brilliant game play. Different each time you play. Masterpiece!

### 5/5 — Great on tablet!

*2020-08-06, version 1.10.3*

Loved this game on my PC, so glad to be able to play it again on my iPad wherever I go. Beautiful graphics, fun gameplay, and a good sense of humor, this one is a must for RPG fans.

### 5/5 — Amazing game

*2020-07-16, version 1.10.3*

The amount of work put into this game is amazing. No micro transactions, fun gameplay, and actually challenging bosses. If you like diablo or hearthstone this game is perfect for you. Worth way more than $10

### 5/5 — =)

*2020-06-28, version 1.10.3*

Excellent game. Very much like Diablo.
