I like being able to download my books. I like being able to organize books to my liking in bookshelves. I like the app being more E-Reader and less storefront. Give the users what we want. I would have been fine if we could just keep our current libraries in this version of the app. The devs just want to force us on the new version that of lesser quality, so they just delete our English library here. Return them. ### 5/5 — I need this version back *2026-05-12* I love this app but the new version it’s just the worst I don’t see the ideas of changing something that it’s working for trying new ideas that clearly nobody liked. Buying points and no having my manga organized it’s just the worst. We will share your feedback to the management company for future improvements. ### 1/5 — 4月UP以降、iPadOS版でネットワーク接続不可エラーで使用不能になりました。 *2026-05-02* iPadOS 16.7.15 の初代iPadPro(9.7inch) Wi-Fi版を使用しております。2026年4月のアップデート以降、ログインしても「ネットワークが接続出来ません」とエラーが出るようになり本の閲覧が出来ません。 勿論設定を確認してもそんな設定はしておらず、理不尽に使用不可能になりました。 もう10年以上利用しており、購入した書籍が無駄になりました。無輪サポートサイトを拝見しましたが、見当違いの内容の記載しかなく、こちらも読むだけ無駄でした。勿論アプリの削除、再インストールも効果はありません。 Bookwalkerは、初期のユーザーイベントで仕様の検討会にも参加させていただきましたが、こんな形で裏切られました。今月末をもって読み放題サービスも解約します。今後の新刊はAmazon Kindleに完全移行します。 購入済みの書籍はWebブラウザー版で閲覧し、結局iPadOSアプリ版は使い物にならないのでアンインストールしました。正直☆はつける価値すら全く有りませんが、付けられる点数が☆一つしかないので、遺憾ながら1つだけつけざるを得ませんでした。 2026/4/25追記: 結論として、Ver.7.8.9で起動不可エラーだけは解消されました。しかしサーバーに保存した本棚データをリストアして不具合直前の状態に本棚を修正するもフリーズ→アプリ再起動を繰り返す為に本棚復帰不可で使い物にならない状況には変わりません。結局再アンインストールしました。軽視削減優先で最低限のリグレッションテストすら省略する点は、インフラ軽視した同グループのニコニコ動画と同様です。私もこれ以上の被害を避ける為、所持しているコインを使い切りったら二度とBookwalker で課金はしません。せめて購入済書籍のepub化が出来れば見直してやらなくはありませんが…。組織が落ちぶれる時はあっという間でしたね。 **Developer response:** コメントを更新いただき、ありがとうございます。 また、起動はできたものの、本棚を編集時、アプリがフリーズし再起動を繰り返すとのこと、ご不便をおかけし、申し訳ございません。 本棚を復元しようとすると、アプリが落ちるといったご報告を、他のお客様から1件いただいており、現在、調査を進めております。 まったく同じ挙動ではございませんが、ご指摘の事象と関連する可能性も考えられます。 要因の特定にいたる際には、改修に取り組む所存でございます。 このたびは、アプリの挙動を通し、失望させてしまう結果となりましたこと、深くお詫び申し上げます。 ### 5/5 — This version is better *2026-04-20* The inconvenience I have with migrating to the new version is that the new version is not this one. I enjoy using bookwalker, and I don't really like the new alternative to the Global Store. I miss the ease of being able to see both Japanese and English series as a language learner. ### 1/5 — 文字が正常に表示されない、ダウンロードしてもオフラインで読めない *2026-03-31, version 7.8.5* コミックを読んでる時は気にならなかったのですが、ラノベだと「あ"(濁点付あ)」みたいな特殊な文字は表示されません。 Webブラウザ版ではしっかり表示できているのでこちらでもどうとでもできるでしょうに。 物語に浸っていたのに突然の◼︎で一気に引き戻されて悲しいです。 初回の読み初めでフォントのダウンロードしてたので、設定でアプリフォントに変えたらいけるのか？って試しましたがダメでした。 ラノベでは特殊な文字が割と出てくるのでこの辺をしっかりして欲しいです。 ついでに、ダウンロードしたのに完全オフラインだと認証やら何やらで読めないの勘弁してくれ。 しばらく電波入らない環境にいる時の楽しみとしてダウンロードして準備したのに何も読めなかったぞ。 せめて一度認証したら1〜2週間は読める様にしてくれ。 ## Frequently asked questions about BOOK WALKER ### What can I read on BOOK WALKER?
